95% of people here wont get the joke because they never put on a pair of boxing gloves on in their entire lives.

 

i'll say this much...the amount of actual padding in gloves can be terrifying. SPARRING gloves keep your knuckles safe sure but **** me, there ain't a lot there to protect your head. 8 oz ain't much but **** all. i'm surprised manny didn't knock hatton's head off and take his quickening
