Mmm Cotto with all the hype around him seems to be the one that could defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr. But in my eyes Mayweather will remain Undefeated even if he steps into the ring with Miguel.

    :-(

I honestly think the winner of Cotto - Margarito will beat Floyd, provided Mayweather actually wants to fight them.

    37 year old Vernon Forrest?

I think Winky Wright would beat Mayweather. But Winky has been fighting above 154 since 2005, when Floyd was at 140.

I doubt that De la Hoya can beat him, but the probability is small.

The current version of Mosley can't beat him; maybe a prime version could.

Margarito has no chance. He is simply not in that level.

Cotto has the most chances. He is a more or less complete fighter, has punching power and excellent recovering powers.

Top guys at 140/147/154, like Malignaggi, Witter, Quitana, Clottey, Forrest, Phillips, can't beat Mayweather. They would not deserve to fight him.

Bigger guys, like Pavlik, Abraham or Wright, would beat Mayweather. The weight difference is too big to ignore.

For me Cotto has the best chance but De La Hoya and Margarito would give him an arguement as well.

Mayweather needs to make all the money he can and get out ASAP.
A brand new crop of contenders is on the rise
+ all the others that he has yet to face are still waiting in line.

Keep it SUPERFIGHTS Money May' and avoid the youngin's.
just like they did to you when were coming up, just like you doing now.
Like watching Mayweather but his best days are prob behind him aswell.
he don't throw the combo's anymore, he is one punch at a time. (Pot shot)
he still has the speed, but his Power is still a ? at Welterweight & beyond.
until someone beats him, he is the P4P without question.
but his days are numbered, IMO.
