    are you being serious here?

Judah - ranked #2 WW, people said he overlooked Baldomir - fought ATFER his loss to Baldomir(regardless if they already had a deal)......

Baldomir - was the ring champ, the lineal champ and the WBC champ
    -......
dont need to say too mcuh

DLH - arguably the best LMW at the time and WBC champ- pretty good but it was hardly DLH at his best.

Hatton - lineal and ring champ at LWW, ex belt holder at WW-
Hatton at 147 not as impressive as it would have been at 140.

Marquez - #2 p4p, #1 LW, plus it was coming off a 2 year lay off-
please....its disgraceful to even talk about this. He even cheated him at the weigh in

I hate having to go on about Mayweather and i genuinly dont dislike him all that much...but i guess i had to put the self proclaimed greatest of all time in his place.

I try and drill in this point over and over. His resume really is not that bad. However, when you make claims of being the best who ever fought and P4P #1 ever, then this resume will simply not get it done at welterweight. Why you ask? Well it's missing what the resumes of proven ATG fighters have: the scalps of the very best in the weight class. That's the only way it can hold water with the lofty claims of Floyd AND his most ardent fans(the ones who call you hater even if you have a very valid reasoning behind your criticism) as to his proven worth.

You have to do better than that accomplishment-wise to be mentioned along-side Ali, Duran, Robinson, and Leonard(all fighters Floyd has demeaned at some point or another for various reasons) To be the best you must defeat the best....even if it means risking a loss in the process. No guts, no glory.:bbb

The Marquez fight was meaningless and pointless. No one wanted it and no one asked for it aside from Marquez. We all knew going in that it would be a shut out and it had no historical significance whatsoever. it didn't clear up anything in terms of rankings or standings. It was meaningless and I hate that floyd fanatics can't acknowledge that.

IMO that is a difference between a fan and a fanboy. The fan can look at things objectivly and acknlowledge a turd while a fanboy will try to defend it. I got no problem with the rest of floyd's resume but it makes my skin crawl when Floyd boys try to defend the marquez shitfest. Who cares that he was p4p #2. That's why it's called p4p, because it has no bearing in your actual weight class. If Wlad was to beat Pacquiao right now would you give him props for beating the p4p #1?

His first fight at welterweight, Sharmba Mitchell, was Paul Williams' fight to become Margarito's mandatory for the WBO.

Besides, this is only his welterweight resume, DLH not counted, and he became the lineal champion at the weight because of that resume.

NO ONE would be classed #1 P4P competing with guys like Pacquiao, Calzaghe, Taylor, Hopkins and Cotto at the time if he had a "laughable" resume. As far as I remember, 2007, the year people called his resume laughable earned him the fighter of the year title competing with Cotto who fought and beat Urkal, Judah and Mosley and Pacquiao for fighting and beating Solis and Barrera II.

I also remember people going all "WOW OH MY GOODNESS, RICAN POWER AT IT'S 110% FINEST" when Cotto was fighting Judah while people laughed when Mayweather fought him.

The only thing laughable is your knowledge and idiotic behavior. Show me how you will argue with this.
