Why do so many people hate floyd? His fight's seem boring because he is that good. I've been a boxing fan now for 18 years and in that time I've not seen a better boxer. Now don't get me wrong their are some fighters that i really like and respect, but as far as a pure boxer he's the top. All this money may, i care about checks and money and blah blah blah is just a bunch of bull**** to sell fight's. This dude will fight everyone who counts when all is said and done and retire with his 0.

Again, the hate isn't born from what he does in the ring.

I agree totally with you. However, it seems like not everyone can seperate the two. People take away from his skill because of how he acts outside of the ring..

Same reason why the best at anything is hated by more people than love them.

People love to bring people up just to tear them down.

Mayweather will be much more respected around here a week from now if he loses moreso than if he wins.

Mayweather isn't always boring look at the N'Dou, Gatti, Hatton, and Judah fights to name a few. All had good action and are worth watching. People love his skills but hate what he says. I think they buy into the "villian" role too much and find Floyd as an *******. Floyd is actually pretty nice after the fights he hugged Hatton and says, "Yeah uhh he's a great fighter" a lot of times.

I wouldn't say I hate him, but I dislike the fact that he has not given us the fights that we want as fans.

I am not saying he ducked them, but the facts are there, he could have had a way better resume than he does. Only he knows his true reasons.

Honestly, we can only speculate how great he is. On saturday he is going to shows us, and then if he beats Pacman, he becomes immortal.

    Just the facts.

I personally don't care if he loses, I just want him to be active and fight the best so he can actually prove he is the best, instead of just talking. Thats all

If Mayweather's personality wasn't what it was, if he was a very humble guy, who always showed respect towards his opponents and fellow fighters, then he wouldn't be hated as much...

...but then again, would he be as popular? Probably not.

    Really?

Cause he has done a hell of a job of not fighting Pacman.

I think he does take tough fights, but he will not 'fight everyone who counts' unless there is a radical change in circumstances.

So are you saying he will fight Pac, or are you saying Pac doesn't count?

If it's the former, then we can all hope. If it's the latter then you are wrong.
