I have been watching FMJ since '96 and there is only one time I have ever seen him look this slow, sluggish and tired. And that was also at 154lbs with 10oz gloves.

Agreed. Although, I think if he had the 8oz gloves, he would've gotten Cotto outta there. He looked the same in the DeLaHoya fight.

there's really no one at 154 either that he could face. they clearly said canelo is not ready for him yet. if floyd-pac can't get made, given the rivalry in boxing between mexico-puerto rico, and cotto and canelo are the biggest stars of their country, i think this would be the second biggest fight possible. september would be a great time for this bout to take place.

Floyd didn't look tired to me. His speed wasn't the same but that is to be expected. The only thing that pissed me off is that Floyd didn't try to finish Cotto in the 12th. He just went for the decision.

He would not fight there anyway as he would be looking at Martinez in the face. Just go back down to 47 and end your career with the Pacquiao fight.

He looked tired, but Cotto put on some pressure which can be mentally tiring. Cotto also apparently landed more on Floyd than he has been landed on in 5 years. Floyd was never a high volume fighter, so I don't think the weight limited his endurance. If anything, it might have been his age, or mostly probably just Cotto.

Let's be real here. What did Mayweather weigh in the ring? You guys make it seem like he is ****ing bloated at 154. He was ripped as hell during the fight and weigh in.

Yes, after winning an exciting but dominant decision against Cotto, winning his 2nd title at the weight in 5 years, he is petrified to fight at 154 again.

I'm sure he will wipe his nose with the new WBA belt he collected.

I didn't like the 151 lb Mayweather this go round. But i did like the De la hoya fight.

It was definitely the speed that Mayweather lacked at 154. The amount of punches Cotto was able to land, he needs and I expect him to be done with 154. There are some really hard punchers at 154 that Floyd needs to avoid. Cotto isn't one of them.
