It is looking like a big possibility. Khan and Floyd do seem to talk alot about each other and Floyd also mentioned a couple of things about teaching Canelo a lesson or something only the other week.

We all know he is coming back for 50. Im still holding out for Pacquiao 2. Dont know why. Or GGG at what ever catchweight.

He's going to fight Khan if he wins or rematch Pacquiao. I don't think he will be bothered for a rematch with Alvarez.

He believes/knows he can beat either guy so there really is no reason for him not to come back and fight for that MW championship.

Huge event, loads of money, huge achievement to become MW Champ and even if he loses he can blame it on size/age. No brainer.

I have no interest in PBF-Canelo 2 PBF is a horrible styles match up for Canelo and I hope he stays retired.

Of course not :bart Saul is a different fighter now.

Why wouldn't Mayweather want to rematch his biggest payday save Pacquiao?

No he didn't because he can't unlearn his actual style. Sure, he can add minor improvements and adjustments but that's as far as it goes and it still also requires great training and a lot of time to achieve. The best style to trouble or beat Mayweather is an overly aggressive ugly/dirty style that keeps on the pressure nonstop. Alvarez doesn't fight that way and can't fight that way either. He tends to pause, wait and take time off in between his activity. That way he will only allow Mayweather to relax and develop a rhythm, if you allow someone like Mayweather to relax and develop a rhythm, you're roasted and in one-sided fashion. The only way these styles can beat Mayweather is by throwing and landing a lucky blow that ends it all. The chances of that happening are about as slim as a post-it.

I truly hope a rematch with Alvarez isn't in Mayweather's interest even if it offers a sixth weight division title. I'd rather see him face Khan(if he wins) or rematch Pacquiao.

The post above should answer your question. As far as paydays are concerned, he's going to make a lot more fighting Pacquiao again.

at what weight? would Mayweather come up to 155? Mayweather will be older and after canelo chased lara, cotto, khan around and without a size disadvantage, perhaps canelo will have the experience he needs to make the fight halfway competitive fight.

Why would you rather see him rematch Pacquiao?

He definitely did. Canelo is not a young man anymore, he's in the prime of his life and would have a good chance at beating Mayweather this time around.

What's exactly different about him now? I certainly can't see it.

    :patsch

Canelo has always been a very mature and precise fighter...

But He's in his prime for starters, not a young 22 year old lad like when Mayweather fought him. His body looks alot more mature, especially in the Cotto fight. His stamina has improved and there is more bounce in his fighting.

His excellent defense continues to improve. He's cutting off the ring a lot better now.

He just outgunned the man who destroyed Martinez and one of GGG's better opponents in Geale.

The scary part is that he still has about 2-3 more years of learning before he PEAKS. :good

What's different: He fights at Caneloweight now, defending the Caneloweight Championship of the World.

    What's the same: Everything else.
