Win or lose, Mosley will come out clean, without a single blemish or cut on his face. May knows he is fighting a very strong fighter, and he is not going to risk making this a brawl. He is going to play it safe and win a decision. Just look at the Mayweather/Baldomir fight, he didn't want to take any risk then and he won't now.
Chin-Mosley Heart-small edge Mosley Corner-Mosley It's an even fight for me. I just can't imagine so I don't make any predictions.
Fighters can get a KO win, not just by putting their opponents on ***** street. Ref, Throwing the owel, quitting etc...
Everybody knows that Mosley has a better style to beat Floyd than DLH had. Not only Shane beat Oscar by SD and 116-112 scorecards b4 as he is physically much up to the task, powerful, flashy, determined and tough. And that's why Floyd should have fought him in 2007. Hoya should have fought Tito instead.
oyud Doubt it. Floyd can't knock out a blown up lightweight so you actually think Mr. Featherfist can knock out an iron chinned natural WW? Man plz.
Well, Mayweather dominated Marquez and dominated Hatton in the second half of that fight. The bigger fighter in between these two had more success. Mosley fits into this picture more than he does a 140 division fighter or a blown up superfeatherweight.
Thank you Bability somebody sees through this idiots B.S.! This guy is such a fanboy has been from the first day he posted about DLH.
Mosley is not a defensive as Counter Punching Marquez. Styles make fights, and Mosley is there for Mayweather's taking. The possibility of a KO exist, and I'll predict a late stoppage by way of RTD. But yeah, Mosley one of the toughest fighters to ever lace them up. But one has to take into consideration his age, and aside the Margarito fight (styles make fights) how he has looked in his last few fights. Now had they fought 10 years ago, then I'd favor Mosley, but this is a shell of what Mosley once was.
Who's "everbody" and what style is that??? Mosley's jab is not great, it's actually not very good. The only thing Mosley has going for himself is size. I'd like to know what style that is that is best to beat Mayweather. You have bought into the hype, and that's fine, but again, if Cotto can outbox Mosley, surely Mayweather will...and that's not the only factor I'm using in reasoning. I'm taking into consideration advantages. Floyd is more skilled and younger. He has better Ring IQ, and doesn't get unmotivated when things aren't going his way ala Mosley. Floyd is faster, and has better defense. I can go on...but you get the point. I am interested to know what kind of style you think Mosley has.... Don't take me wrong, Mosley HAS a chance, but Mayweather is the favorite for a reason, and he should win.
Well, at least Floyd knows that Shane has the style or else he would have fought him when Shane was a WBC interim WW Champion instead of going at Hoya and at the millions at the SWW title with only 150 pounds. I tell you what style is that - Shane has flurry handspeed and one punch power, he has a right hand as well as a jab and he hits you hard and fast with either hand ( 38-0, 35 KOs going into the Forrest fight), But most important than all, Shane has one thing over Hoya, he is a afro-american improvisational, flashy, creative fighter and adaptive on the fly. Not a one handed fighter who could not even sustain the jab for more than half a fight and was getting winded up just by missing bunches of punches. Hoya did really lay out the blueprint on how not to fight Floyd, got winded and tried to block punches standing still in the middle of the ring. Highly doubtful is that Floyd is more skilled, he has reflexes and he has been taught to act brilliantly on defense by his father. Floyd is just faster and lighter on his feet, not with his hands. He can sneak in with a right hand or a lead left hook but he doesn't have the xplosive fury of fast punches guys like a prime Jones or a Mosley had/have unleashed. I do get the thing about not being motivated but you'll see what happens to a fighter who was never beat when he is about to be beat. Mosley's will was never broken, not even after suffering two knockdowns from Forrest in ROUND 2 in NYC ( Forrest crumbled to Mayo and Hoya crumbled to Hopkins). Let's see about the Ring I.Q., Floyd will move, feint and make best use of his legs but that doesn't mean that Shane is gonna chase him like a clown or a fool. If Floyd doesn't fight, he can't win by circling Shane alone, forget about the Q. Like you said, both have chances which is quite different from saying that Mosley is going to get embarrassed tonight. Cheers.
mosley may lose, but this is bound to be one of the tougher fights of money may's career even if he does win I have a hunch and some vcash that says mosley's gonna pull it off
