Floyd could probably fight 2-3 times a year for 5 more years if he had heart! But since he's weird he will probably fight once a year for the next 3 years... And he wont fight the best!

After all he talked about retiring early with good health, do you really think he'll go against his statements and still fight till he's 38/39? Would like to see some tough top boxers on his list if he's gonna retire soon anyway.

A loud mouthed egomaniac coming back for more attention and money isn't unprecedented. Especially if the IRS is making house calls.

Alvarez? Possibly yes although Manny has fought way better opponents.
Trout? Beating a washed up Cotto
Bradley? Oh dear.... Won a robbery vs Manny and has been in hiding ever since
Guerrerro? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.... Please stop it.
JMM? I remember the last fight, Nobody wants to watch that.

Sure, look at Roy Jones. He made many statements like that when he was young, taxes are a *****.

The best part about this deal is that it'll allow May to fight every 5 months, instead of this once a year bull****. Sound a little too much for an old man to do but if its what he's planning on doing then.......Sounds good to me.

I doubt it will happen but IF he fought 6 times over the next 30 months, I'd say it'd be a lineup something like this:
    1. Guerrero - May 4, '13
    2. Alvarez - Sept '13
    3. Alexander - Feb '14
    4. Khan - July '14
    5. Garcia - Dec '14
    6. Alvarez II - May '15

needs to fight Martinez and then retire.

But that won't happen. Martinez is all wrong for Floyd...just as fast as him at this point, and a lot bigger. He'd be kept at reach the whole fight, sadly.

Still one of the best who ever laced them up.

Good prediction. It actually seems quite realistic in Floyd's point of view.

:good I don't like seeing any fighter hang on past his expiration date.
