I think the problem with boxing is that fighter's become stars and celebrities only at the end of their careers. Rarely do they have the highest earning potential in their primes. Floyd is a guy that had to wait to earn his spot in American sports. He was already thirty years old when he fought DLH and that was only the launching of brand Mayweather. So you can understand why a boxer might say to himself, "ya I said all that stuff but back then I was killing myself to fight often and fight the best. I had to work so hard I owe it to myself to make the most of this fame and earning potential I now have.".

I think he will only fight 3 more times tops. He may only fight two more times. I'm ok with him fighting Guerrero and Canelo and then calling it a career. If he fights one more time then I would like to see him fight Pacquiao or Bradley and clear up who is the best man at welterweight.

Not quite. It's a 6 fight, 30 month deal. I bet he can choose to fight 3, 4, or 5 times.

Does anyone here who is not a ****** think he will fight 6 times in 30 months?

He has to Pay the MEGA Pacquiao damages in that out of court settlement so his private USADA tests stayed out of the public domeign. Pac's team were shocked at the amount offered to bin the case, way way more than they were after!!

He's not fighting 6x lol,Once he gets another big scare like mosely or worse he's calling it quits win/lose.If he does he's not staying undefeated telling you that much, then again he is a great cherry picker the g.o.a.t. actually in that department no arguing that.He needs to fight Sergio & get that fat L over with. Here's hoping Matthysse gets garcia/broner soon & joins mayweather sweepstakes.6 fights though :think..........................Na! He too *****! :yep.

Manny's 2 years younger than Floyd and used juice throughout his career. If he's "old" or shot at 33 then that's because he's bad.

    lol?

Manny/Tim are Top Rank. They won't happen, period. Amir is a possibility because of the large UK fan base.

Lucas / Sergio have no fans and Sergio is 2 weight classes above Floyd. Lucas is just too far removed from the spotlight.

Of your "dream fights" one could happen.
