I think Cotto is just fine and gives credit to PBF for it. But come on.

Yuri who had a bad knee?
Mayorga was a good win, nothing more, nothing less. Not like the dude was elite or anything. He was 3-3 in his last 6 fights.
Margarito was an excellent win, but let us not forget that Margarito was backing him up and Cotto was on his bike for at least the last 2 rounds. And Cotto took some damage here (not as bad as Marg I).

So to say that 154 is a better version is silly and stretching it at best.

Cotto's 147 record is far superior to his 154 record - which is good but not great.
140 is where he made his name. 147 where he became a star and 154 is likely where he will finish his career.

I think they are using common criticism from many hardcore PBF fans that Pac fights his leftovers.
I think they are trying to turn the table - as they say.

For me personally I don't buy in to the "leftover" bullsh!t.
Every top 10 ATG has lost at least once early in their career - sometimes very badly. But no one ever say they they where some one's leftovers.

It is a modern phenomena - created by internet boxing fans. Everyone is a left over - unless Ottke, Calzaghe or PBF.
If that is the list of non leftover - I would take leftovers any day any time.

It's not just the fact that PAC beat those guys, it's also because PAC destroyed them better than Mayweather. Same goes for Mayweather vs Marquez. That's the *****S #1 argument these days as to why Mayweather is better. So stop with your righteous bull**** because *****s have called Cotto past it for years now and all of a sudden he's much better than the one that fight PAC? *****s are ****ing idiots so seriously dude just STFU
