I keep seeing post about Mosley not throwing punches, I'm starting to think u guys are fools. Mosley has always none to tire it's nothing new, but even when he tires he still throw punches so that's not the reason. The reason is because he was scared to throw punches because mayweather has time him perfectly, when Mosley threw his jab it got countered with right hands, sometimes Mosley would block the counter right hand and the he would get hit with a hook.

That's not even the most brilliant part of the fight What I seen Mayweater do that I never seen done ( and I watch lots of classic tapes) was somebody adjust in less than 30 seconds while being stunned. Floyd got stunned twice with big right hands, and by the second clinch he had already adjusted ( Wow) . He was fully adjusted and took away Mosley right hand to the point he was comfortable with fighting the 3rd round being the agressor. Normal boxers would of used the 3rd round to get their legs back and fully recovery. This guy is special.

No one would be able to average 100 punch rds against Floyd, after a couple counters they would put their guns back in their holsters and start to be gun shy. That goes for Paul Williams, Magarito, Pacman and anybody else

Good post. Mayweather adjusted so quick in the fight it was amazing added to the fact he done it while buzzed by a huge right hand ( watch where the second right travels from)

He is a special fighter, yeah he acts like a fool but I really do believe we should start pitting his name up there with the Ali and leonards of this world.

a counter puncher always puts workrate down. best way to slow workrate is timing. if your opponent is throwing tons of punches, missing half of them and gets caught cleanly, then eventually he's going to have to slow down to become more cautious as what he's doing is not working. this is what floyd will do to pacquiao. as the rounds go by, the more pacquiao will have to think.

Chavez and N'Dou are the only two guys that I've seen that kept their workrate up against Mayweather. Chavez was throwing 100 punches a round. However, he was countered silly and was eventually stopped. N'Dou also ate a lot of hard shots. Mayweather was using that pull counter very effectively, but N'Dou kept firing. N'Dou took a bad beating and got stopped after Mayweather pull countered him with 3 straight rights.

this is why i find people who claim the only way to beat him is with a high work rate

Mosley was exhausted after just a few rounds, do you think that is normal? What has the fatigue of Mosley to do with Floyd's countering skills? I am sorry but your post is nonsense.

Yes indeed. Watch the Pacquiao - JMM fights as a reference. Compare Pac's dropped workrate in those fights to his fights versus other opponents he's faced. JMM counterpunching made Manny leery about throwing as I suspect Floyd would do as well.

Dumbass. What has the fatigue of Mosley to do with the counterpunching skills of Floyd? A fighter may become reluctant to throw punches because of Floyd's countering skills but he does not get exhausted after a few rounds. See your post makes no sense at all.

****ing dumb ****ers watch the fight again. Watch what happens when mosley tries to use his jab to the body that worked in the 1st two rounds in round 3. May hits him with 4 punches in a counter and then follows it with two consecutive right hands. Mosley comes in close mayweather steps back and hooks. give the guy his talent. IF you call mosley shot now and he goes on to win a titile and you guys claim ring rust was the reason he lost to may then your blind bellends.
