I agree. Mosley was getting caught with counter right hands every single time. Thats the reason he wasnt throwing. It had nothing to do with him not being able to 'pull the trigger'.
What has that to do with mosley being exhausted after a few rounds? He did not have the stamina, period.
Maybe so, but it sure as hell wont reduce the workrate of someone like Manny to 20punches per round. Mosley was throwing 30 punches per round against a still target in Mayorga...sometimes, he just fights a low output fight I guess. Im sure PBF had a lot to do with bringing it down to 20 punches per round though.
Calzaghe threw 700 punches against Hopkins. He threw over 1,000 punches in his fight before Hopkins against Kessler. He threw just under 1,000 punches in his fight right after Hopkins. Calzaghe's workrate was definately dropped against Hopkins. The first half of the fight, his workrate was down big time.
Nice to see some peolple can understand the mental side of boxing!!! Sometimes you have to look deep at what is not apparent to understand but again it can be hard if you haven't lived it.
Yes his workrate dropped, but it was still enough to snatch him a victory. Which is the point I'm trying to make. Against a scientific fighter who will always be out thinking you (and put you in a trance), don't allow your work rate to drop to a point where you're not throwing enough to win. Calzaghe realizing this, managed to up the tempo in the 2nd half of the fight, and steal a decision which he didn't quite deserve.
That is what I say all the time, most people didn't even see when floyd was stunned he still was strong enough to clench hard, lock Shane arm under his elbow the second time when he was rocked he still got in some body shots to slow shane down enough to clench
You're a dumb ass, I was talking to people who believed mosley was tired because he was weight drained or old, I was reminding people that Mosley always gets tired, but still manages to throw punches, so him being tired is not why he didn't let his hands go it was the counters that had him scared to pull the trigger. You're the only Dumbass that didn't get that leave the post loser.
Anybody can throw 1,000 punches when they're not turning over the punches so he's really pawing with his fist pillow fighting. I was talking bout real punches that's why I didn't include him
"Him being tired is not the reason why Mosley did not let his hands go". Who says, a dumbass like you? It is the most logical explanation for him not letting his hands go. So, being tired has nothing to do with inactivity.Do you even realize how dumb your argument is? I bet you have never put on a pair glove in your entire life, writing this nonsense. And stop trying to hide your irrational arguments behind desperate insults.
I couldn't agree more look at PBF's last 10 opponents they all have career low workrates and career low connect %. There's a reason why this happens but people refuse to see this they completely ignore it fight after fight. It's PBF's defense and counter-punching that limits them.
Floyd even countered Mosley's jab with right hands to the body at times. Early on, I noticed that Mosley actually put something on his jab in this fight. Once Floyd had taken to him with crisp counterpunching, Mosley reverted back to just pushing his jab out there again.
