Sorry I didn't see Mayweather as a clear winner. He might have won 7 rounds to clinch the fight but it wasn't a master class by any stretch of the imagination. The 10-2 card was laughable.

I wouldn't wanna pay that much to see a person that I dislike. Maybe dislike now has a different meaning. The numbers show that this "disliked" man is the biggest attraction in boxing for almost a decade now.

After tonight he would have broken boxing attraction record for the 3rd time. Fans want to see Mayweather, thats what the data shows. The reason why they wanna see him is irrelevant. At the end of the day, they most important thing is that they came out to see him.

Stupid ass Ward fans do the same thing, they continually throw off on AA Kessler and especially Froch and end up discrediting his biggest wins.

The few kook on here that love his mindnumbing style I guess count as fans. Or as least they claim to be.

Why can't you be fans of both? I like Floyd and Ward, at the same time I like Triple G and Kovalev.

Because I can't enjoy negative unpleasant to watch clinching runners, I love the sweet science if done in an entertaining manner like say....Lomachenko.

youre right that boxing lost. give it to mayweather, he won i thought as did ringside and judges. However some of those rounds he threw a few jabs, say 2 decent right hands and then got on the bike (in almost embarrassing fashion) to lock the points in.

ah well didnt expect much more

Not everyone can master the sweet science, those who can reign long as champions. I like both styles.

Yeah its really hard for someone to learn to be proficient in clinching, running, head-butting, elbowing, landing 2 shots per round, all the while boring the f*** out of the audience and still have fans.

I wouldn't really call Mayweather a disappointment because his style isn't appealing to an idiotic public. Especially not compared to GGG, who's literally doing nothing but feasting on bums. It's all a matter of styles to the casuals and a brainless head first aggressive style always prevails due to to its straight forward and less complex appearance. This sport has many different flavors for different audiences and Mayweather's style is easily a more advanced one and one that is more appreciated by the hardcore fans that truly understand what they see to appreciate it.
