Mayweather isn't stuck in the mud like Cotto and Clottey. Mayweather moves around the ring and punches or counter punches from different angles.Pacquiao is an offensive weapon but Mayweather will not stand there and let Pacquiao punch on him and if Clottey was able to land counter punches Floyd will have a field day. The only problem is will Floyd be able to sustain the pace to move around and counter Pacquiao all night we all know Manny can take his punches but Floyd will have to keep Manny off of him because Manny is 10 times better than Castillo
Of course he won't be. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If they ever fight Mayweahter will dispose of Manny easily.
everyone apart from Philipinos know floyd will win The trouble marquez gave pac... mayweather will be double that at least
this is exactly what i was telling my boys on saturday, if clottey was catching pac clean with counter punches, mayweather is gonna light him up
if your basing it on Pac vs Jmm, then your delusional. Manny has evolved since then. Manny vs JMM 3would be a walk in the park for Manny now. Do you honestly think Manny would respect Floyd's power and make Manny tentative?
It wouldnt be a walk in the park. JMM just has mannys number, unless jmm has really faded badly since the mayweather fight
Mayweather won't be easy ... but if you revert the reasoning, PAC is one of a few who will be able to stop Floyd within the distance
:-( it's easy to catch someone off guard when you're throwing 3 punches a round. pac threw away his defense in round 2 when he realized clottey was going to shell up all fight.
If this fight were a foregone conclusion, I'd have no interest in watching it. I totally agree that Mayweather is miles different than Clottey or Cotto. He doesn't have stationary or "tough guy" attitude in the ring. And you can be SURE that if Clottey marked Pac's face in that one-sided sparring session, Mayweather will have plenty of target. Pac's defense is his unrelenting offense, and we all know what a master counter-puncher Mayweather is. On the other hand, Mayweather has been troubled by aggressive fighters. Castillo, in my estimation, won that first fight by keeping Mayweather out of his game with constant, intelligent, agression. Zab had Mayweather tripping over backward early in their fight with his speed. And truth be told, Hatton gave Mayweather plenty of fight for about 5 rounds with his aggressive style. And Pac is sort of like a combo of all three of these guys: He has Castillo's toughness and ring smarts (but a harder punch), he has Zab's speed (but he's mentally tougher), and he has Hatton's offensive aggression (but a whole lot more precise). That's what makes this fght so intriguing to me. And while I have my favorite to win, I'm not saying either has no change. I'll leave those statements for fools and fanboys.
