You can say a lot of things about SSM or JMM and their inabilities/abilities as fighters, but one thing that I don't believe can/should be said about either at any point from now until they/we die is that either man is "Slow". Dude you are simply reaching, and in this context insulting two future HOF fighters in the process, neither of these men are anything close to "slow".

    That is utterly ridiculous.

One thing that would probably give mayweather problems now are athletic fighters who know how to fight at a distance.

If a prime gayweather took 4 rounds to figure out Judah, I think a slower version although probably smarter one version of gayweather would have problem withathletic, younger and bigger khan.

Esb still has romantic notion about mayweather's skill but the hard truth is that he is nowhere the beast he was at 130 - 135, which is arguably his prime years. At approaching 35 and his level of activity, an athletic fast and big fighters would give him trouble. He will find a way to win but it would not be a walk in the park.

Mayweather's offense is predictable lately too especially the counter hook as the bread and butter. Any fighter has a habit, even the great ones.

Slow relative to their prime versions.

Jmm is simply a fish out of the water in that fight and look very sluggish. If you consider Mosley fast in that fight, then you are entitled to you opinion!

When has Mayweather ever struggled with athletic fighters who know how to control distance? He beat the **** out of Judah, he beat the **** out of Mitchell, he completely schooled Mosley for 10 rounds. And those are welterweights. Khan is a junior welterweight who is only 24 years old and was getting beaten around the ring by Maidana.

First of all Judah and Khan are completely different fighters. Mayweather had to press the fight against Judah, and Judah became the counter puncher. All in all after 4 rounds Mayweather had already outlanded Judah 27-25. Judah just had 2 big punches that got threw. And that is not the type of fighter Khan is a guy who waits and looks for one shot counters. Which btw is Judah's speciality.
Then you're a moron. Maidana was finding Khan with right hand and jabs. aNd he is virtually skillless as a fighter. Mayweather would time Khan constantly, Khan reaches with his punches, has a porous defense, and this is the guy who's going to give Mayweather trouble? Please. Actually watch boxing. Mayweather would gatti a fighter like Maidana. You think the Khan of last night beats the Hatton Mayweather fought?

The only thing Mayweather has lost since his 130-135 days is foot speed. THe handspeed is still largely the same, the timing, speed, defense, intelligence is all just as good if not better.
Khan would be a ****ing carriage ride in the part for Mayweather. :nut

So you are saying Khan who was looking to Roach for advice when Maidana was tagging his ass would be able to exploit any of Mayweathers habits?

please ******* just because you read something Roach said which is 90% bull**** that comes out of his mouth anyways dont think you can decipher Floyds abilities when 41 have tried and 41 have failed big time.

Khan would be obliterated. If he throws any punches at all he will be stopped.

Khan IS faster. Khan is maybe the fastest guy in the sport. That guy has some missles.

But that wouldn't come into play as much as people think...

At least with business as usual...

    back to the drawing board...

This next fight brings the pressure...

It will really test Roach's ability to train a rising prospect with can't miss physical attributes. I was very disapointed in his performance against Maidana.

    I expected more from Roach.

Mayweather is bigger and has speed. He would probably beat Khan by decision in 2011. Which is why Floyd wants to fight him. But Khan in a few years like some of you said would start to beat Floyd. Especially if he moves up to welterweight and gets stronger and still has that great hand speed.

I think Khan at 147 will suit him even more, Khan would be the bigger younger, faster guy in the ring with Floyd.

Khan still needs 12months/3 more fights to refine/improve.

To say Floyd would completely nulify Khan's greater hand speed is a joke, Zab gave Floyd problems for a few rounds with speed, Khan is faster than Zab and wont gas after 4 rounds.

Couldn't agree more. Floyd makes easy work of Khan and there's no doubt about it. It's unbelievable that people think Khan barely getting past Maidana somehow means he'll be a challenge for Floyd.

i don't think khan has nearly the power in his punches that judah has....

and all that talk about give khan a few more years...floyd would have deteriorated physically by then lol, is that khan's best chance?
