I think both would be tough fights for Mayweather..
I could see them go either way..

People act like tito got outboxed by many boxers. The only ww to achieve that was DLH.
I'm not saying he would win but it wouldn't as most are saying here that pbf would breeze through the fight. May had never fought someone as big, strong and a GREAT boxer puncher as Tito was at WW. people forget how good he was at that weight. I think oscar would win against pbf.

It's a shame Mosley had a toothache and wanted a vacation when we had a chance of seeing that fight happen.

And Mayweather would never face someone like Diego Corrales who was 5'11 33wins-30knockouts and feared in the division, Oh wait

Cotto - Is a banger and Floyd faced him at 154.

Ortiz - Is a banger and had dropped everyone he had faced before fighting Floyd.

Mosley - Known for power and showed early, was number one welterweight and had just handed Margarito his first stoppage loss.

Hatton - Known for power especially to the body.

De La Hoya - Just stopped Mayorga, number 1 Jr Middleweight and Floyd fought him at 154.

Castillo - Number 1 lightweight and was a banger.

Corrales (RIP) - Known for power, undefeated and was the favourite going into the fight with Floyd.

That's just a quick overview, so before you fill your posts with ******ed comments on the back of biased hate, do some research.

I think both fights are tough for May, and could go either way. That said i'd favour a prime Oscar at 147, for the simple reason his reach is as long as May's if not longer, he could throw fast accurate combos, something Floyd hasn't done so much since moving up from 135. Plus if it came right down to the 2 of them trading i'd favour Oscars chin every time.

Both extremely difficult fights. Trinidad's size and power would make things interesting, but is susceptible to letting Mayweather box him. De La Hoya is a toss up.

Either way, Floyd wouldn't have got in the ring with them.

... Tito would have needed to land just ONE shot and the fight could be over.

I don't play these bull**** "Floyd wins because the threadstarter said so" games.

Fact is, Floyd would have ducked the **** out of Tito. Fear>Floyd.

cotto was never a power puncher at 154 he was at his best at 140/147 before Margarito concrete gloves messed him up.
mosely was 39 years old when he fought floyd? does this even count? floyd got to shane when he was at the end of his career. a younger version of mosely would have given floyd hell that night.
ortiz isn't an elite fighter and i'm a fan of victor, its laughable how you bring him up and compare him to the 90s 147 fighters.
hatton was never a welterweight he was best at 140 and he didn't even look that great beating collazo.
De la hoya was 34 years old wasn't even a full time boxer and didn't even look himself he still managed to win 4 maybe 5 rounds from floyd.

This isn't a p4p discussion. Prime Floyd is a better fighter than both, but his prime was 130-140. He was noticeably slower than Zab Judah once he made it up to 147. He just doesn't have enough speed and mobility at the higher weights to overcome what they would bring.

    P4P, Floyd whups both.

Oscar outboxed Trinidad with his foot movement. Floyd doesn't have the same type of foot movement as Oscar. He would have to be constantly on the move. He coudln't afford to lay back on the ropes because Trinidad would impose his size and power.

Prime Oscar beats him. He won't get tired and he'll win some rounds on activity. If Floyd tries to go punch for punch with him, Floyd gets knocked out.
