yeh i bought that ppv and watched it live with 2 fellow fighters and a few casual fans (gfs etc) and even the casuals picked up on how stupid he started fighting after round 5. just swinging for the fences falling in love with the idea of beating pac, i actually had him up going into the 5th, i dont remember scoring a round for him after that :-(

 

A win over a basically journeyman Chris Algieri is nothing to be proud of. A strong wind could KO Chris yet Pacquiao couldn't get the job done. In fact he hasn't got the job done in years.

Mayweather has looked ropey at times in his past few fights, vulnerable despite his defensive mastery and that's what makes this fight interesting. This is either going to be Mayweather vs Marquez 2.0 or Mayweather might find himself on the canvas and fighting through some dicey moments. I hope we see the best Floyd as the cream should always rise to the top, and no matter what I think of his out of ring persona he is the best in the business at this time.
