Ah, but De La Hoya's jab wasn't that successful, it was just that when he was throwing it, it allowed him to get in close. If he had jabbed then stayed on the outside, he would have done nothing but because he used it to get close, he had success.

Pavlik always fights on the outside, so he would have as much success as Oscar did. You need more than a jab to beat Mayweather.

Nah, not at all. I think Mayweather should look for this, if a Pacquiao fight falls through, because he would win easily.

For the record, I don't give any other true 147lber much chance against Pavlik.

if floyd can stay away from the ropes, he can break pavliks heart and potshot him for 12 rounds.

not a greatly entertaining fight for most fans but a good name on his resume.

Whatever dude, floyd would be horrified with the idea of fighting kpav. He would go :scaredas: like he has never been in his entire life.

certainly not as crazy as it sounds, Floyd could definitely play keep away for 12 rounds, follow the blue print, potshot and nullify the 1, 2. interesting.

little floyd will never ever utter the name Kelly Pavlik out of his ***** lips. he would get put in a coma by the Ghost.

he ducked Margarito and for sure would duck Pavlik. it's amazing how some people can't see through the fraud that is little floyd.

Im a Mayweather fan but no way would he fight Pavlik. One, Pavlik is having problems making 160 so Two, Floyd would have to move to 168. Not happening.....I'll admit I'm wrong if it does happen but it's a slim to none chance.

Probably on the context of pound for pound, Pac has realistic chance of winning. Meaning if you shrink Ali to 147, then Pac is a livewire.

But the Pavlik vs. Mayweather is their current versions. And we know that the closest to floyd fighting a big fighter like Pavlik is if he ask for a blood test 10 times a day.

And definitely there is a reason to defend the Floydette Kingdom!

Your getting ahead of yourself. Let's see if PBF doesn't get starched by Mosley. I believe PBF will win by decision, but one good placed Mosley overhand can change everything. Also, what if Martinez wins.

Pavlik is 6'2 170 and a 3 inch reach advantage.

Floyd is 5'8 155 at most.

Pavlik would hurt Floyd with every punch he landed. Another stupid post from Jack.
