Mayweather has enough determination inside of him to survive any moments in my opinion. Itll take more than 1 punch to get him out of there. I think he knows how to survive.
I could not say in honesty that I am certain that anyone could beat Floyd. But SRL I would have as favourite against him. Also DLH in his prime. Tito? I dont think so TBH. Shane Mosley in his prime, I think would edge Floyd. Pick em' fight though Due To Kostya Tszyu's great record against speedy, slick boxers, I give him a great chance as well.
I give Tommy Hearns a chance because at his best he too as Mayweather is able to do, can time his opponents body movement so I give him a chance because of his tremendous straight right hand which has 1 punch knockout power. Although Mayweather being starched by 1 punch is unlikely in my opinion I think he would be able to survive like I said.. Ray Leonard...perhaps..but hes a somewhat more emotional fighter a lil bit flashier and I think Mayweather could outsmart him but to be real honest I havent really seen enough Ray leonard fights to justify my opinion on him but I dont think he possessed the kind of 1 punch or brutal ko power to be able to beat Mayweather down.. He would try to figure out Mayweather style but Mayweather would be able to avoid incoming punches due to his amazing sixth sense he has in there and his tremendous reflexiveness. Castillo came close in there 1st fight but Mayweather showed him a lil too much respect in my opinion. But this was 1 of those times when Castillo was at his best. On any given night any fighter can rise up and do the impossible it just takes some self belief and courage
But thats why Floyd is damn near unbeatable..he takes his opponet best punch away from them. Oscar didnt land his left ook the whole fight....Cotto damn sure wont.
JCC is very good choice :good Duran is even better :thumbsup He would maul Floyd :!: Floyd seem to be vulnerable to low-blows, and Duran is good at it (remember Buchenan) :nut Sugar Shane would make PBF look poor. Floyd would duck and slip punches, embarrassing Shane, but with his brilliant defense Floyd would not find time for offense all night long. Sugar pools the decision :blurp Tszyu has a chance but wouldn't utilise it just like ODLH. It's also a possibility of being overwrestled by Floyd and finally stopped :| Alexis Arguello Looks like Corrales (R.I.P) but better straights (espesially jab) and chin. Floyd may pool the decision unless the fight is 12-rounder - in this case too little time left after he has had figured out the opponent :rasta
Any grade A fighter with a pragmatic mindset and a good jab. Personally, Thomas Hearns wrecks Floyd. Not just wins, but stylisticly dominates. Devestating results.
I am sorry.....But why are we assuming that WW is Mayweather's best weightclass. in WW lots of good fighters could beat him. But this is not his prime weight. I think we all need to remember this.
At Welterweight, Ray Leonard seems like a candidate to beat Mayweather. The pre-Leonard fight Hearns would also be a threat. The Quintana win over Williams also puts Cottos chances in perspective. With Cotto beating Mosely, and wrecking Quintana, Miguel seems to be a step above the other contenders, in a super strong division. If Cotto doesn't get his chance, I have to wonder about Floyds historical impact, and weather he really wants to be involved in a potentially competitive fight.
