That's because they were missing and he ws getting countered.

No he was 38, and was not gassed, but mentally broken by getting hit with lasers and being unable to do anything about it.

His age wasn't a problem when he was fighting the human punching bag, Antonio Margacheato.

Again, he wasn't gassed, even said that he admitted that he wasn't gassed.

Look how mayweather beat them both first. Look how Pac fought a weight drained Hoya who was actually the smaller man. Hatton had already had his chin cracked by Mayweather. Who cares if Pac did it earlier. That means nothing in boxing.:patsch

Only an idiot makes excuses for a dominating win over a guy who everyone swore up and down that Mayweather needed to fight but was scared then. Thena all of sudden, surprise...the fight comes off and then all of sudden excuses come out of the woodwork.

the flimsy body punch isnt really a body punch its to get floyd to lower his guard like he did in round two more a fient that touches, shane did that the whole fight Naz saw it and told him there aint no 1 shot.

yes floyd does stuff his forearm in your throat to make you tired. he did it to hatton and he did it to castillo in there 1st fight they took his elbow in castillo 1 castillo was able to come in on the young fighter who didnt have defensive skill on the inside, 1st fighter he met that could take the agressiveness on the inside. even lost a point to it anyway

the body fient touch punch what ever lowered floyd hand and mosley came over floyds left shoulder with the right.

I said this on here countless time. shane didnt stand a chance cuz he kept going for that combo

Thanks, like they say, boxing is more a mental sport than a physical one.

Has nothing to do with punches being slow and not having snap or power because a guy is winded and too tired to throw a solid punch. Fool...

1 month away from 39 it was? Oh no, what a huge difference, he was still a young guy... Plus he had a what, year and a half lay off too?

No he was not gassed... lmfao... He wasn't breathing heavily, he wasn't breathing with his mouth open, his punches still had snap, etc.. :nut :rofl

"mentally broken". Yeah that's why he threw more in the 2nd half than the first according to some... lmfao. Do you even know what mentally broken is?

Coz he was too old, too slow and too tired... Couldn't do much vs Mora either... Other fighters beat him: Cotto, Forest, or Wright... Except, unlike vs Gayweather, he was at his prime, vs Gayweather, he was old, passed his prime and got winded after a couple of rounds.

"hit with lasers unable to do anything about it".
Because he was too old. During the first 2 rounds, where he a shadow of his former self, he hurt Floyd badly. Floyd beat up an old man with a long lay off...

Yeah, year and a half before, didn't have a year and a half lay off either...

So he didn't admit he was too old, was gassed out and didn't have it anymore... lmfao! Yeah, I wonder why... Maybe he wants another pay day?

All ripe for the picking. And even then, struggle and wasn't able to get rid of them like an asian homosexual midget with a mustache was able to. :rofl

that video really is spot on and illustrates perfectly why people like me try to pull down certain people on this board when all they do is 'powder puff' each other with a 'my dad's better than your dad' philosophy to posting when they have no respect or knowledge of the sport.

    it's embarrassing.

everyone's heard the saying "most fights are won and lost even before a punch is thrown".
in street fighting that can be very true, but in professional boxing there are so many more facets that come into play. floyd daring shane to try the same tactics again is a smart, smart way to get an important advantage in the mind**** game.

floyd is a very smart fighter, and by doing that you aren't just testing your opponent's ability to adapt, you're pulling the strings of his ego - and that is a powerful tool ;)

I'm quite alarmed that some fans just can't see the difference in fighting a brawler, and fighting someone as skilled as Mayweather?

Pacquiao was AWFUL against Marquez. Worse than Mosely was against Mayweather?

Think he was shot? Or was it just the style.

Man, Mosely ruined Margarito as he's a limited fighter, and if you throw a combo, it just lands, with nothing coming back.

    Floyd/Marquez punish fighters like that

It's a lot easier facing shot names, than bothering with them when they're at the top.

Juan Lazcano and Stevie Forbes were better against De la Hoya and Hatton than Mayweather as well

Floyd/Mosely was pretty similar to Pacquiao vs. Marquez,
