Look at how you label Floyd fans already. You don't even attempt to debate normally. ****, I mean, look at freddy and I. I try to start off with normal debates and stuff all the time. We both do, but that quickly changes but we still try. You just had a pre set agenda before you got into the thread.
Since you took it there: - What 'adjustment' did James Toney make in his two fights with Montell Griffin? Toney was in both fights (maybe even won the 1st) and lack of output probably cost him both times. - What 'adjustment' did Bernard Hopkins make in his 2 fights with Jermain Taylor? Everyone knows JT was a left jab-right hand only guy with shaky conditioning, and yet Hop did worse in the 2nd fight than the 1st. - How many Willie Pep fights have you actually seen?
Damn, we have some dumb AZZes on this site. If people could see and understand what Floyd does in the ring, he would have moar fans.
Lol you're not a fan, as soon as he loses you'll be gone from these forums. We all know he is skillful, but you talk about him you end up giving him super powers
Says the guy who thinks he's chinny. At least be right about something if you're going to follow someone to hate them.
yeah some people just don't have a smart enough boxing IQ to understand. I'm not going to lie, i don't either to understand everything, but it's clear that Floyd makes adjustments. Sugar Ray was versatile also, but not a lot versatile than Floyd. Maybe he bits him by a little, but not by a mile. When I watch Pacquiao, it's all usually the same thing. Jab, Jab left hand. Oh now he has a right hook. It's funny listening to people break down what Pacquiao does, they bring up that he has two hands now. WTF is that. I've seen Floyd take out Chavez with uppercuts, N'dou with right hands, Corrales with left hook and control his fights with jabs. Watch the Chavez fight, watch the Mosley fight, watch the Corley fight and watch the Oscar fight and tell me he isn't versatile
You can't help people who don't want to be helped. There's that Mayweather-Mosley video as an easy example, but people want to pretend it's not there.
That's true, they had two videos explaining to them how he adjusts and you still have saying stupid stuff
Oh, gotcha. I agree that the blind hate is silly, and same goes for the blind love. More objective discussion is always more interesting to me. It's not a great video, to be honest. He points out Floyd's body shots on the inside, but I only saw one or two at the start of that clip, and they were very much arm punches, with little weight behind them. Not damaging body shots at all. Then he says Shane throws 'tit tat body shots', but neglects to mention that Floyd's body shots were also 'tit tat', except for the final one, later in the video. Floyd throws MUCH better and more convincing body shots in the Zab Judah video. In this video they don't serve to convince me that they helped much at all. The video maker notes that Floyd knows exactly what Shane is doing, so he throws a left hook while on the ropes. He doesn't add that the left hook actually misses Shane. The only good point in the whole video is the way it breaks down how Floyd countered the 1-2 body-head combination -- that was good, and nice to see in slow mo. The concluding note is very silly, though -- battling Floyd with your mind is 'an automatic failure for any fighter'? What rubbish. I can understand if he's talking about modern fighters, but someone like Leonard or Whitaker back in the day could definitely battle Floyd on a mental level and win. Granted, Floyd IS a smart fighter when it comes to ring strategy and techniques, but there is such a thing as going to an extreme.
Yea, the videomaker explained how Floyd took away Mosley's overhand right physically and psychologically. He made some adjustments. That video did a good job in explaining Floyd's adjustments, but the videomaker is still a very big Floyd fan. Fighting stupid isn't the way to win against anyone elite. Leonard is too big for Floyd. Whitaker would trouble Floyd with his defense. I've been telling people for weeks that you need a great defense to **** with Floyd. I bet most people here didn't even see the simple adjustment Mosley made in his fight against Floyd.
Normal debate, a normal debate is not trying to assert that Mosley actually was active in the Mayweather fight, that he did not show signs of fatigue, that is downright biased.
So now people want to discredit the fact that Floyd makes adjustments in fights? Some of you just hate too much. Why don't we just say **** it and say Floyd never existed.
