i don't know what predictions were being made on eastside. i wasn't a regular back then. i just remember a lot of casuals fans(people i work with) making that prediction and i assumed it to be concensus. i picked floyd to win having watch mosley struggle with a cotto who was boxing. i felt he needed a mayorga or margarito to come right at him

Zab Judah, Jose Louis Castillo, and Ricky Hatton are the top 3 for me. The Oscar win was pretty good as well. I think those 4, from a stylistic point of view, possesed the tools to give Mayweather the most problems.

Marquez- he came back from retirement and fought the p4p #2 guy WITHOUT ANY TUNE UP fight.

Corrales then Castillo then DLH. Mosley, Hatton and Hernandez are all up there as well. As far as total ownage nothing beats the Gatti fight, biggest beat down of an elite champion ever.

Wow a lot of people said Corrales, which is for sure his best fight to date, and by far best performance. I was 11 when it happened. I still remember well who both guys were back then. Corrales was the man, a true banger, and PBF was a sharpshooting boxer who would mix it up back then. Everyone saw Corrales winning, then like a whip PBF's Check Left Hook straight up took care of everything. Just watch the pre fight hype and the fight on Youtube. Someone said Gatti, maybe a few, and that is just a joke, gatti was a long gone day, beaten by DLH and Manfredy, went through the wars with Ward, it was not the true blood and guts warrior, so please be careful what you say there.

Chico or Castillo. Everyone knows Chico was considered a beast at the time and was top 10 P4P. I picked Castillo because this was Floyds only fight where he had serious problems and he came out the winner.
