Hopkins and Toney names stand out for me. They are both HOF.

Roy Jones Jr by a margin.

This is probably a problem of quality vs. quantity. I especially consider the name 'James Toney' in Jones' resume. That name makes the difference. Let's see if Mayweather beats Cotto and who else does he beat.

Why would you not mention these wins? Woods is a champion, and Montel although washed up now, was a elite win back then who beat toney twice and in the 1st fight with Roy was winning the fight before the DQ. That was a credited victory, he KO'd the man in a single round... that was Roy at his best against a Elite fighter.

No its not, your list isn't fair. You forgot Woods and Montell. Ricky Hatton is no better than Clinton Woods to be honest, and Montell Griffen P4P was a better fighter than Hatton could ever be.

A fighter like Zab Judah has beaten more ranked contenders than Clinton Woods. I haven't mentioned Judah so I won't even mention Woods. The same happens with Griffin. Who has Griffin beat apart from Toney (in Toney's downfall) and Derrick Harmon? Maybe I should also include Arturo Gatti in Mayweather's list...at least Gatti beat Jesse James Leija, Branco, Dorin and Rafael Ruelas.

Alright, if it is right to add Woods and Griffin , then Chavez and C.Hernandez should deinitly be in there for Mayweather.

    IMO Mayweather edges this

Gatti was shot, Zab Judah hasn't been anything, Griffin was top class back then. The point I am trying to make is that the Griffin win was NO DOUBT one of his best, I don't know why you would NOT mention that.

I'm not making an argument for Roy, I'm just saying why would he not mention the Griffin win, it is one of his best win, if not his best. 1 round KO against a fighter who was beating him last time before Roy got DQ'd.. c'mon now.

I'm not mentioning him because you only have to analyze his resume to see he is no more than Zab Judah and no more than Arturo Gatti.

Neither is Ricky Hatton any good, he is no better than Woods imo.
