I'd say clearly his biggest win was over ODL

And his best performace a toss up between the Corrales and Gatti fights.

Biggest win: Oscar De La Hoya
    Best performance: Diego Corrales.

I don't value the Gatti fight over Corrales because he simply but on an equally effective performance against a better fighter in Diego.

biggest win is Corrales by far since it was a dominant win against an amazing fighter.

    best performance too

Gatti was never an amazing fighter and was really shot by the time PBF got to him. Oscar put an even worse beatdown on Gatti years before PBF got to him. Before the wars with Micky Ward

I agree with this as well Chico at that time was a dangerous fighter and I feel that win ment more than a win over DLH who was obviously at the end of his career.

I disagree that Oscar put a bigger beat down on Gatti. Go back and look at the fight. Yeah Gatti was cut so the blood may have made it look worse, but he had a lot of bounce in him. He protested the stoppage and was bouncing around the ring smiling after the fight.

Against mayweather, Gatti didn't lay a glove on Mayweather, got beat down for 6 rds, then stumbled back to his corner after the 6th, and slumped down whereuponMcGirt decided to stop it. Gatti, just sat there, no protest; he didn't say anything, just sat there with his head down and both eyes closed.

I think the version of Oscar Mayweather fought was a still a more complete and dangerous fighter than Diego ever was. Just my opinion.

Mayweather biggest win is Castillo part 2.

So many people went crazy after the 1st fight declaring that Castillo got robbed, when Mayweather beat Castillo more comfortably the 2nd time he put all doubt to rest as to who was the better fighter. I truly believe this was Mayweather's best win. he silenced his critics.:yep

As for best performance I would say the N dou fight. Mayweather showed all his attributes in that fight, it was a boxing exhibition of defense and attack. A flawless performance.:bbb

The more I think about it...
His biggest win has to be the second Castillo fight.
(He needed the rematch in the worst way to silence the MOB)

Best performance by far is the Chico fight.
