His biggest win is either the ones over castillo or corrales His best performance is IMO close between corrales and genaro hernadez. The hernadez one is perhaps the most overlooked, for a 18 fight novice to give such a beatdown to a top quality oppenent is very rare. PBF at 130 was a real top quality fighter
Biggest Win - Jose Luis Castillo (Rematch), Floyd shut up all critics by clearly outboxing a man who many people believed was robbed in there first match. By the way, I' am not one of those people. I had Floyd winning fairly easily 115-111. Best Performance - Yet to come.
Best win was probably against an undefeated Hatton, although im still debating that... AS far as best win? Beating a prime, undefeated (i think 32-0) Chico Corrales...it was a toss up fight going into it, and ended up being on eof the most one sided boxing lessons i ever witnessed....
I cant decide on his best win. Best performances would be Corrales, Gatti, and Hatton. The way he destroyed Gatti was similar to Calzaghe destrying Lacy except Floyd got rid of his man.
Biggest win: ODLH Best performance: Hatton - he became a dirty, inside fighter and showed the same adaptability as against Castillo. Hatton made a massive mistake not researching the Castillo fight properly.
biggest win: all 39 of them best performance: all of them, he fought different every time ... always showed a new dimension ...
i remember Gatti was down in the first against Oscar and his head was being bumped around every time Oscar threw a combo. By the third round his face was a bloody mess. Gatti being slumped down in the corner in the PBF fight is more an indication that he had no more fight left in him at that point in his career than anything else. Also, Gatti was winning the first round againt PBF until a very questionable knockdown. Its not true that Gatti didn't land and at some point early in the fight he caught Floyd quite flush.
His best performance is a toss up between Chico Corrales and Genaro Hernandez. His best win is probably the De La Hoya win.
