Bernard was standing up and demanding ref intervention in the fifth and that's why he warned Mayweather's corner - outside influences and pressure. Cortez didn't deduct points for holding and systematically breaking the action from Hatton... You cannot lose your head and hit someone like that and hope not to be penalised like Hatton did in the sixth. Mayweather had to get Hatton off him and that was the expected move he would use and used it too much for my liking, I admit.
Will you guys STFU about your precious anthem? We don't even like our own, FFS! Barely anyone in the country has any time for royalty. Give it a rest, pretending to be offended. ZZZZZZZZZ
I'm not saying whether it was right or wrong, legal or Illegal. But the elbow in the kneck was definitely part of Floyd's game plan to kill Hattons natural game. It worked!
I think it was just a natural way of trying to keep Hatton from tackling him I would have done the same thing.
I told you Oscar didnt want Hatton to out do him. The judges and ref seemed paid off to me but no excuses cause Floyd was definately the better man.
I can't believe that was the best excuse you could come up with..... The elbow was never thrown (inlike Hattons). It was simply a brilliant deterent to Hattons bulling forward. Rick was punching behind the head from the beginning of the fight and wrapping up more than Floyd. PBF is a brilliant tactition in the ring. Bottom line..........and.........what did the elbow have to do with Rick getting KNOCKED O-U-T!!!!!!!?????
We all knew that Joe and the judges might be a problem so quit protecting the promoters Floyd forarmed to hatton's face and hit to the back of his head immediately before Hatton was penalized
