    He justifies/trolls that Pacquiao fought Algieri but Pacquiao had two reason;

    1. Old Bob had nothing left to put him in with, his stable is **** apart from Marquez and Bradley
    2. Provodnikov lost to Algieri so the win got him the fight
    3. He got a ton of **** for it from most rational fans except the zealous manny brigade but beat the kid down and did what was necessary, some fans gave him way too much credit.

    1. Mayweather HAD a plethora of acceptable and challenging options in Garcia, Khan, Brook, Cotto 2 or Thurman. Matthysse and Bradley are long shots.
    2. Floyd has dilly dallied about and his options seem to be Brook or Khan now, or Haymon had this planned all along.
    3. Thurman is fighting on the weekend (Is going straight back into camp for a September fight enough time?) / Brook is supposedly fighting somebody else on the same date (or is it Mayweather now Rios has broken down?) / Cotto vs Canelo is happening in November / Garcia is fighting Malignaggi on August 1. / Khan is a nervous wreck but seems a favourite. / Matthysse and Bradley rival promotors.
    4. Berto beat Lopez, whoopie sh**... Mayfield... no offense but who is he, a sparring partner of manny's with an okay boxing record under the radar. Algieri beat Provodnikov.
    5. If he does fight either of these, the same zealous irrational floyd fans will do what the frenzied pacman clown mob did for algieri, attempt to paint it as an acceptable and noble choice.

Imo Garcia and Thurman are going to be built as heirs to Mayweather's throne thus avoid him and play the long build game rather than throw them in to get decisioned, Khan will get his wish.

It won't be an actual farewell fight though.

:deal Especially if he fights someone low level, he would pull 4 mil views easily.

PPV against Mayfield or Berto makes no sense.

I don't think it indicates he'll be fighting an *unworthy* opponent. I'm sure Floyd will negotiate a way to make up any earnings lost for lack of PPV.

Mayweather can't sell anymore PPV. People watched him to get KTFO. Since Pacquiao who was past his best by a long shot couldn't, people have given up hope. Only way he can sell a fight and get decent numbers is if he fights GGG, maybe a Canelo fight can get him to break 1mill as well, maybe....

Floyd's sh!t needs to be on free TV, no one is buying his fights again... except for his Fl0mos.

    Not at all brother MVC
You spot on as one Commercial during this program would not be cost-effective for any company in order for Floyd to make his money

Sure why don't you name us a few companies that will pay the type of revenue required for sponsorship to make this available on free television

If it's free on CBS then we can expect Berto or Mayfield. I'll be watching something else. I'd prefer PPV vs a decent opponent.

It will do huge numbers on CBS. They will be able to charge a premium for commercials during the broadcast. Mayweather just made CBS a gazillion dollars in his last fight. Haymon has reportedly told people that he thinks PPV is an outdated business model.

Tyson fought on FOX against Mathis Jr and was guaranteed 20 million ans that was way back in 1995 so 32 million in 2015 is possible.

And they will make of Floyd the first PBC champ...not a a bad marketing idea for a new belt.
