I mean, there's really no legit opponent out there. While I appreciate his boxing skills, you can't help but feel that his fights end up being a letdown for the money. Is anyone going to pay $75 to see Mayweather have a sparring match with Khan or Alexander next? I surely will not. I highly doubt casual fans would pay money to see Mayweather fight this type of fight again unless the opponent is legitimate. People still want to see Manny against Mayweather but I highly doubt it will happen because of the TR/GB situation.

Depends. There is the angle that the best boxer of our generation only has 4 more fights. The farewell tour angle may give PPV sales a lift.

That angle worked well in DLH/Mayweather but it will not work here.

It's not Floyd's fault that he makes Class A fighters pedestrian and look like C and D class fighters. He stands to make $82 Million dollars when all the pay per view revenues are in for this fight according to latest projections.
