As long as the gloves are 8 ounces, it doesn't matter. Even if the gloves gave Mayweather more area to cover his face, it would only be a slight increase. However, the punches would hurt Pacquiao less as well if the extra padding is what caused the gloves to be heavier than 8 ounces. It's an odd complaint from Roach. He must be really hoping that Mayweather hurts his hands.
