Ortiz has shown that his will can be broken. Against Maidana, Ortiz had the lead and chose to gave up once he reached the point where he had never been before. He was hurt and he commented something along the lines of "I would rather stop and try another day."

Regardless of what many think of Floyd, i'm sure he will also break his will when he continues to outpoint him. Ortiz is strong and i'm sure he has a chance at a possible KO; however, it's more likely that he quit once again if he is outpaced and cannot hit Floyd.

Well Mayweather may **** Ortiz up without finishing him, like he did Corley so I'm just gonna do a 1 month, If Win, your Avatar will be a pic of Floyd finishing Ortiz. If I lose, I guess you can pick an Ortiz, Pac or any other fighter avatar and I will agree to use it.

He TKOed him and a KO would have followed had Ortiz decided to be Mexican and fight to the last minute.

I just hope he does not throw in the towel on Mexican Independence day. :nono

Did he break his wrist in the director's cut of the fight? :think

It was a WAR and the proven WARRIOR was Maidana.

Ortiz mentioned to the commentators that he quit because he "rather not be stopped on his back but rather fight another day." Shortly after he apologized to Kansas for his loss.

If you think he had trouble with a savage, wait til you see him with a professional and once the thought that he is being outpointed kicks in. Worst yet, he won't be able to touch Floyd with his direct approach.

Ortiz will have much better luck playing the Vegas slots then finding the one time Floyd is open for him to land the one in a million shot.

Floyd is very capable of ruining Ortiz....by giving him a onesided beating. While Floyd is not known as a puncher, at WW, he hits hard enough to make his opponents think about not getting hit. His accuracy will take its toll on Ortiz. I'm not certain he will stop him, but this will look far different than the Berto fight. All that confidence Ortiz has from that win, will turn to worry when he is being hit and is unable to return the favor. In that situation, his corner or the ref could very well stop the fight.

I accept your bet... But the thing is I haven't seen your rolly polly ass on here for like 2 months.. so I think you should give me 2-1 odds because I frequent this establishment often!

So your saying Mr feathers might tatoo Ortiz alot but since he has no power that he wont finish him!? :hat

Yes. I think Ortiz will be stopped. More likely by referee stoppage.

The Berto fight showed how Ortiz can be vulnerable. I see Floyd maximizing his speed advantage.

Every mistake Ortiz makes (which are many) he will pay and pay heavily.Mayweather will drag him to the deep end and give him a proper beating.Ortiz's been mouthing off a lot and he will not only get stopped but will never be the same after this.

    gatti
    Hatton
    Mosley
    Corley
were never the same after losing to Mayweather

I very much doubt he ruins him, unless Ortiz does something to really **** him off or get his back up before the fight I dont see a Gatti/Corrales type performance.

I think he will thouroughly spank him though (Mosely kinda performance) and no one really believes Ortiz will be landing anything on Floyd a few clean punches the whole fight if he's lucky!

That might have something to do with corrales going to prison after he fought Mr. feathers!

I admit the Chicken had more pop at the LOWER divisions.. But at 147 he punches like a prag!
