He didnt fight them befoe because he needed a break, a nice vacation he never had from boxing since 6 moths old. plus Pacquiao was at 130 when he reitred, so he couldnt have fought him. Mosley ducked Mayweather in 1999 and 2006 and he tried to fight Cotto in 2005.

Saying Mosley ducked Mayweather in 1999 is like saying Pacquaio is ducking Juanma Lopez when Pacquaio is on his way to fighting Mayweather. Mosley was moving up that year from 135 to 147 to ready himself for his fight with Oscar.

In 2006, Mosley was not in a position to make the fight with Mayweather because Oscar was to negotiate a fight with Mayweather instead.

Cotto not fighting Mayweather in 2005 is a legitimate duck.

I disagree. Shane could stun Cotto and slightly hurt him, he would be able to do that to Floyd.

Pacquaio was hit by Hatton a few times. He held up quite well. He was moved but he was open for the shots and teeing off on him Hatton.

Floyd does have the power to hurt Pacquaio but it would come from precise punching and good angles.

Shane has shown that but he is pushing 40. His last win was against Margarito who was tailor made for him. And yes Margo beat cotto but cotto lost that fight margo didn't win.

I understand. Im merely saying, Mosley pushing 40, and Pac and Cotto still young, they add more from money to legacy.

I would love to see Mosley and Mayweather I've wanted to see that fight for years.

If Mosleys balls weren't bigger than his head he would still be top p4p. But then he just wouldn't be sugar would he?

At this point Mosley has preserved himself got a new trainer and he seems to be the trainer for the age deprived. I see his style really being fine tuned and his combinations looking crisp as ever.

Sure I think he's lost a little foot speed but his hand speed is still there and he may be at his mental best.

I would love to see all of these fights - especially the Mosley fight.

For historical purposes and for his legacy - he should fight Spinks for another belt in another weight class - just my opinion.

Its a good start. Especially if Mosley wins his next fight as impressivly as margarito.
Pacquiao will be first. But Cotto has a huge fight with Clottey. Clottey is tough son of a ***** and will not be knocked out. No way in hell.

You are insane if you think that beating Mosley will do nothing for Mayweather's legacy..:-(

Action speaks much louder than words, or even a list for that matter.

I concur. Granted, Mosely is out of his prime but not by much at all.

There is no shame in Floyd not taking on Williams. The guy was just fighting at middleweight. lol

After he beats JMM and Pac, he would go back to retirement. Mark my words. :patsch Yes I said it, MARK MY WORDS he will go back to retirement.

Cotto by then "might" have lost more fights thus he will say "not a worthy opponent". And Mosley might have retired by then.

Not until I see him in the ring with either Cotto/Shane that I would believe it.
