I don't think so. He's the most popular fighter in a historically weak point for boxing. Tyson, DLH, Duran, Leonard would all outsell him IMO. But he has an influence on the way kids fight. I see lots of young guys in the gym using range-finder jabs and philly shell defenses. Floyd certainly isn't the first to use such tactics but he's popularized them.
