Oscar has fought unbeaten guys before, he's fought p4p #1 guys before, but none his fights did anywhere near as well as that fight did. I don't get how you can criticize the marketing strategy of a fighter who consistently produces the biggest money fights out there.
How the **** would you know, you limp-dicked ****-sucking Mayweather hooer Jesus Christ, get a ****ing life, you fat gay **** :deal
its business. full stop. u might not like what appeals to the audience but the audience dictates that; not the businessmen. in the case of boxing fans, conflict and the feeling of wanting to see someone get beat generates interest. thus, trash talk and antics = good business model. dont take it personal though, trash talk and 'characters' in boxing wont change the science of it inside the ring, where it counts.
Only a ******ed yes-man clown would think that anything that ******ed clown said was funny or witty. You're a dumb mofo bro :yep
There are the crazy trash talkers like Tyson, Toney and Mayorga. There are the witty, personable trash talkers like Ali. And then there is Floyd, boring made up clown who has zero wit. His skills are godly, but his pre-fight routine is killing me inside as a boxing fan, he's a ****ing joke. When I get my friends to watch boxing events with me, I don't want them to look at the pre-fight hype where someone is running around yapping like a little ***** about being a gorilla and a dawg. **** that ****, they'd rather see ice melt. I mean let's be honest, he's appealing to ******s is all. And if the American youth today are all but ******ed, then I guess he's at least selling, but he can also try to act normal once here and there for real boxing fans who aren't interested in all that bollocks.
I'm not going to take any of it personal. What do I care what 2 guys I don't know, and will never know, say about each other? It might be business, who knows? I doubt it though. It may be a "good business model" for 1 fight, who knows? It's certainly not a good, or sustainable model for boxing into the future IMO. Relying on gimmicks or antics is never going to work in the short term. The general public is already fast losing interest in boxing. Why do you thing that is? People like my old man, 60 years old who got me into boxing, and watched every single high profile fight we could when I was growing up, wouldn't change the channel to watch it now, let alone pay 50 bucks or whatever it is going to be for this fight. Why? He likes real fighters, not assclowns.
Floyd talks incessant dumb **** because he knows he's a boring ***** that no one would bother with otherwise. It's borne of his personal insecurities, not any grand master plan to sell more tickets.
No. He's a master businessman you know. One that apparently doesn't pay the IRS, his car loans or gas bills. Something like that anyway.
Maybe it will get to Mosley so bad that he'll Paret his ass. Mayweather needs an ass beatin. He acts like a spoiled brat child that didn't get his ass beat when he threw a tantrum at the mall. I mean the mother ****er is 32 years old.
Or Wapacman, Pac's wife boohooing at mass because of his cheating, or whatever dumb crap Pac does. It is a BS double standard. FMJ appears, sells fights, then disappears. As much as the talk bad about him, other than selling fights and boxing? The dude is a ghost.
lol, thats what passes for wit with these troglodytes. to them floyd is as polished as they make em. true story.
