theres a difference between trash talking and being witty, toney, mayorga and snaggle tooth are all good trash talkers but they're not witty. floyd sr is somewhat witty.
mosleys been saying this for a while remember dlh-pbf when they got into a scuffle and mosley stepped into break it up and floyd called him a sparring partner, mosley replied with 'im writing your cheques, i'm making money outta you'
My favorite part is when they do the face off with Kellerman you have Mayweather claiming he didnt remember what a World Champion Shane said to him back in the day in the lockerroom. Mayweather wouldnt lie and didnt deny to Shane's face. Yet when hes home alone he barley knows who the **** Shane is ?
Floyd says **** that makes no sense IMO. Mosley had beat DLH twice and was actually Floyd's Welterweight mandatory at the time but he wants to try and act like he isnt worthy  Real boxing fans who dont give a **** about PPV numbers know the truth. Mayweather brings up Mosley's 5 losses yet he outright ducked Wright in 05 when the fight was offered, Cotto he wouldnt go near and Forrest was his mandatory and he wanted nothing to do with him.
The fight was offered and Floyd said he wanted the fight then backed out. If he didnt want it then say that from the get go.
From what I understand, neither side could agree on a purse split. It's not like they had an agreement and then Mayweather changed his mind. Even if that is what happened, Mayweather was a JWW at the time and Wright was a MW. JWWs can't duck MWs
Toney can.....he's just fighting at a weight that he doesn't belong...and for those who are "suppose" to be able to beat Toney easily....they consider him a risk that they are unwilling to take. That says something about how good even at 42 or 43 really is. Floyd talks **** and backs up his talk for the most part by winning. But some of the stuff he says is just corny. I don't find much of what he says funny. I enjoy what Floyd brings to the ring.....not really what he tries to portray out of it.
