Floyd's natural weight NOW is WW. He can't even make 144lbs now. If you want to do averaging of all his weight, you might as well do it with Pacquiao. Then tell us what you will find out.

Theres No way he would make 135 anymore. No Way. 146 was what he got and he trained hard for JMM fight.

I think he would make 140 just but he would have to cook himself to make 140.

I don't remember ANYONE saying Gatti had a snowball's chance in hell at beating PBF. I think that debate happened in your dreams, and you were defending PBF from ALL THOSE PEOPLE who thought Gatti was just going to smoke him lolz...

Floyd has grown since then. He's not an old fighter, and I thought he was probably a natural 140 at this point. Looks like I was wrong since he couldn't make 144. Time for him to step up and fight some true welterweights now.

You're thinking that 146 was his honest effort at getting to 144? Why did he not say "OK, let me go away for two hours and come back to weigh in" like other fighters "over" the limit? Say he shed another pound (20 minutes on the treadmill, 10 in a sauna), that saves him 300k.

He went in at WW limit, not because he struggled to make 144, but because to him, 600k was a worthy sum for going into the ring the much bigger, less baked man.

Floyd weighed 150lb 2 months ago, remember?

Some sources say he was 161. thats why him and HBO with held his weight. Because JMM weighed 148. Thats 13 pounds heavier.

    Hardly a catchweight fight.

More so a Junior Welter facing a Junior Middle is how it would have looked if HBO let the weight come out.

Writers of Boxing scribes would have gone nuts.

He looked from the naked eye at least 10 pounds heavier.

yet the PBF fans wont even talk about this issue.

Well some sources are saying he was 161.

Because JMM was 148. How much bigger than JMM did he look in the shoulders and arms he was massive.

But Floyd is always top heavy. Go look at him vs Oscar De La Hoya - he was bigger in the upper body than Oscar was, the difference was their legs.

Again, size didn't play a part in this - skill did.

If you include the reach advantage in the size department, then size does matter. Floyd has 5" reach advantage and he capitalized on it a lot.

You've got to have the style to make that count, there is no advantage Floyd had that was bigger than the gulf in their skillset and speed.

He weighed 152lbs. in front of a commission official eight days before the fight.

Why change the stipulated weight one night before the weigh-in?

"Kizer said that had the bout agreements not been changed to 147, Mayweather would have faced a fine from the commission in addition to whatever penalty he had agreed to pay Marquez. For being two pounds overweight, Kizer said the penalty would have been 10 percent of his purse, or $1 million. Had he been three pounds over (147 pounds), the figure would have jumped to a 20 percent fine."

I've seen Floyd in the gym here in Vegas for a decade. There is no way he could make 135 - impossible. He would be weight drained at 140. He is 32 now. He has been lifting for a decade. Even though he emphasizes cardio and plays a lot of ball (basketball) he is 5'8 1/2" and stronger than he apparently looks to some. He can easily get to 155-160 if he stops training diligently. You are correct that stripping off muscle to make 140 would be a nightmare for him.

Actually if you look at the stats Mayweather has the larger legs than both Oscar and Marquez. Marquez was definitely dwarfed by Mayweather in every department, especially legs.

I wrestled at 141 lbs. for a university. I stand at 5'8" naturally weighed and walked around 145 and had 7% body fat. I would feel very dehydrated and weak cutting the 4lbs. Considering Mayweather and I have similar heights and supposed weights, I'm guessing he's lying about either one or both. I'm a very muscular guy myself, but his physique is bigger all around than mine He has bigger traps and bigger calfs, everything else seems about the same. Marquez was supposedly 5'7", but he was noticeably shorter, and I'm guessing about 2 inches shorter. My guess is that Mayweather naturally weighs and ranges between 148-155 and is probably 5% body fat or less. If he got down to 140 he would look like DLH against Pac, and I'm sure getting down to the 144 would have hurt.

Your natural weight is the weight you walk around at normally which ranges through-out the day because of eating, shitting, and sweating.

I feel they changed the agreement becuase if it got out that PBF might come in 10 pounds heavier a week before the fight every man and there Dog would have called it a plain and simple mismatch.

Look if JMM thinks he was outweighed by at least 20 pounds (most boxers spin a bit a Bull****) Like ive said the figure was more like 10 to 12 pounds difference.

I mean if JMM weighed in at 148 fight night.

It puts PBF at 158 ish or around that.

    HBO are covering there arses.

    Poor JMM.
