You would think people would be used to all this by now. Before virtually every Mayweather opponent is announced, a rumour is accidentally spread about an awful opponent. Everyone is outraged and claim they won't buy the event. But then...

Mayweather announces said opponent, it is not rumoured said opponent, but it is 100 times better than they expected. Mayweather is praised and everyone buys the PPV.

    Repeat.

Good match up, make it happen. Naves is the most underrated fighter in the world and all of his true losses came before the back surgery, he was fighting with a broken back for gods sake.

    This fight will do 800k-1m

    wtf?

wba and wbc should strip him. immediatley. no questions asked.

good grief. you got warriors like jmm and pac and now these douchebags like canelo and floyd that are ruining boxing.

strip these muther****ers of their belts and lets all move on.

Are you really that stupid. Seriously take a long break and think about what you just wrote.

When you hopefully come to your senses, write an apology for the human race.

if frank cooney made this **** up then its called LIBEL, stupid, which he could be sued for damages and sometimes punitive(look up the word, stupid) if a judge believes that he did this with malicious or ill-will intent. no journalist would EVER "qoute" a source out of context as they are held to a higher standard and must carry errors and omissions insurance. i dont know where youre from but the US courts and the judges dont take too kindly for journalists, commonly referred to as The Fourth Estate, to slander public figures or officials(again, google this up, stupid).

and if mayweather did indeed say this then he should "come to his senses" and write an "apology" for doing something so "stupid" to discredit his nephew.

as for floyds current mindset, who knows? hes had some people here actually convinced that he lost 15 pounds after being incarcerated for less than 60 days.
