I don't know that Guerrero has a deal in place with showtime and that would be silly to campaign for a fight with Floyd without being able to be released from your deal because you know for a fact Floyd will not fight on any other network except HBO.

Floyd ain't fighting Danny.....I BEEN telling people Al Haymon fighters do not fight each other : Quillin vs Guerrero will be the first. I know people think Floyd is the devil but he ain't picking on Danny.

 

He is fighting Guerrero. Nobody else makes sense. Guerrero has done more to deserve a fight than Canelo. All the rumors of Bradley being a possible opponent are just smoke and mirrors so Guerrero will accept short money. But he'll cave one way or the other. Guerrero is next.

I guess Danny Garcia is an option. Knocking out Khan and Morales in such fashion was more impressive than Guerreros run at 147. Although Guerrero is easier to sell since hes bilingual, of Mexican heritage and is Floyds WBC mandatory at welterweight limit. And Garcia doesnt speak spanish, is Puerto Rican/less known amongst Mexicans, and has never fought at 147 or cleared out 140. Either opponent is 'ok' on paper due to the lack of opponents available who have done anything to deserve a shot at Floyd.
