To me the next best fight for Mayweather would be taking on a big name at 154-160.

    Some possibilities would be

    Martinez
Chavez Jr (if hes impressive against Duddy)
    Cotto

I don't see a point in him fighting Pacquiao, Floyd will win another decision in a predictable fight.

Theres no point in seeing pac-mayweather but you would entertain the idea of floyd- jcc jr?? LMAO ... WOW that makes alot of sense

I rather see him have Martinez and Williams on his resume than emmanuel pac.

Martinez would be a big fight but not a megafight
    chavez jr is no superfight
Cotto maybe if hes very impressive against Foreman

Mayweather would win but I'm always intrigued by sons of legendary fighters.

aka, I feel like those two have a better shot at beating Floyd because of size so I want him to fight them. If he doesn't he's scared.

No, because I see those fights being competitive due to Mart and Wills natural size advantages, and I see pacquiao getting knocked the hell out by floyd.

  9. all them fights would be over before the halfway mark i carnt believe u mentioned chavez:lol:

Chavez and Cotto would both be a huge waste of everyone's time.

Martinez is the fight if Floyd thinks he is the best. Williams is another good fight.

If he just wants some gimme fight then fight whoever..

If the Martinez fight is for the middleweight title, i can see how that boosts Mayweather's legacy more then a win over Pacquiao.

But Williams? You can argue it would be more competitive if you want but as a Floyd fan you cant honestly believe history will say a floyd win over Williams is bigger then a win over Pac.

I agree with you that no one out there right now has the historical significance that emmanuel would have for floyd's resume, but as a boxing fan I find Mart or Wills fights moar fascinating.

mayweather wont fight pacquiao now, the higher divisions are blown wide open after hes dominated mosley, everyone wants to fight mayweather now, pacquiao needs to fight mosley to even be mentioned in the same sentence as mayweather now, and seriosuly, mayweather v cotto at 154 would be ****ing amazing
