    a) Manny Pacquiao: The negociations will be hard, especially if Pacquiao still refuses to take the blood tests.

    b) Andre Berto: I would not discard this fight as a possibility.

    c) Cotto/Foreman winner: If he doesn't have any other option, Floyd might choose this marketable fight at 154.

    d) Cory Spinks: Spinks is the IBF titlist at 154. Floyd might want that title, though I doubt it because it's not WBC.

    e) Sergio Martinez: Martinez is the 160 Champions and 154 WBC titlist. Mayweather might want that belt at 154, or maybe will fight Martinez for the glory at 160.

(I doubt Floyd fights Paul Williams. Williams is too big and there is an aura around him that isn't around Martinez. Williams last two fights have been inside the middleweight limit. Floyd won't risk.)

Berto is a strong possibility. Floyd wants a WBC belt at 147.

Pacquiao, Williams, or Bradley. Thats it. He does not have many fights left to take.

Berto would be a waste of time. Why would we want to see him fight a guy everyone knows he could beat easily? Berto is not great or elite. I'd rather see him fight Pacquiao or Williams.

Martinez lost to Williams so why would we want to see that?

Cotto lost to Margarito and Pacquiao so why would we want to see that?

This leaves Pacquiao, Williams, or Bradley. I'd want to see him fight Pacquiao but if he fights Williams or Bradley he would get similar recognition because both are on his level skillwise.

Pac and Williams. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Martinez but there's not much reason for Floyd to fight at 154.

If it aint the obvious showdown with Pacquiao he needs to seriously think about going after Martinez for the middleweight title. Beating Martinez would leave his detractors virtually speechless and devoid of excuses. And I tell you one thing, every future Floyd opponent will have no choice but to go through the stringent blood test Shane did. Thats a given

Sergio Martinez is 35 and definitely will want the payday against Floyd.

They could meet at 154, for Sergio's WBC belt.

Because anyone who was paying attention knows that it's not that simple. Martinez is just as dangerous as Williams, possibly moreso as he's a southpaw. I'd want to see it, but I can't see it happening.

This is not who do you want Mayweather to fight next.

This is about who do you think Mayweather will fight next.

Floyd will never fight P-Will because #1 he's dangerous and #2 it's not a big money making fight and thus completely out of the question for Floyd to fight.

I think Sergio Martinez for the 160 title looks like a fight that will get lots of PPV buys. He lacks any sort of defense beyond just athletic ability and is not a hard puncher even by welterweight standards so he poses no threat to Floyd.

Manny would be the most money by far but I expect reasons to come up for the fight to never happen mostly because he's even more dangerous than P-Will for Floyd and partly because of Bob Arum.

If he doesn't fight Sergio or Manny I expect him to retire unless money problems force him to continue fighting in which case he may take a lesser fight like Berto.

Why go after Martinez and not Paul Williams? If hes big enough to go to that weight class and he ducks the best fighter, whats the point? It's not about chasing titles, it's about money and legacy.

Only Paul Williams can bring the money and legacy. Nobody is going to pay to watch Martinez.
