Hes a less than talented Shane Mosley style fighter. There is no way people will pay to see that after the dominating performance Floyd did to Shane.

If he were to fight Williams and beat him he could retire without fighting Pac and would have the better resume. Mayweather also could make another 50 million. He might make more fighting Pac but unless Pac agrees to the bloodtest ...

Srry but Williams is many steps below Floyd in the skills department. Bradley is not a draw yet, is feather-fisted at 140 and is way to small for Mayweather. Martinez is prolly closest to PBF in terms of skills.

After Pac vs PBF, PBF vs. Martinez for the 154 belt seems to me the most intriguing and desirable fight.

I agree, but Berto is a belt holder. You can't hold a belt and say "well I ain't ready".

Honestly I say FMJ fights all the belt holders, pays no sanctioning fees, force title eliminators and keep "vacating them by not paying sanctioning".

I said the same thing, but you know what these *******s/Haters would say... He is too small. So IMHO, when you hold a belt? "I ain't ready." isn't a valid excuse. :nono

Pac's lies disgust me so I don't see the point in making the fight. :bart

I think he beats Pac quite easily but it'd still be fun to watch

I'd like to see him fight P Williams who's a nightmare matchup. If he can beat him, he's definitely the best of the generation.

If Williams is so far below Mayweather in skills lets see them fight and find out for sure? Lets put your theory to the ultimate test.

If you think Martinez is more skilled than Williams you are foolish. He got beat. If you think Bradley is feather fisted but you think Mayweather is a KO artist you are also foolish.

To you PBF vs Martinez would be intriguing but to casual fans and most people on this forum it's not a competitive fight. It's even less competitive than the Mosley fight or the Marquez fight. What would be the point?

Bradley is at 140. 7lbs is not a big deal at all. I think the fight could easily be made at 147 and it would be a very tough fight for Mayweather because Bradley has the same level of technical skills and speed. I think the only thing against Bradley is nobody knows who he is and theres no money in that.

Whilst I would be very excited by Floyd fighting Pacquiao or Williams, I think you are totally off the mark to think that people wouldn't be excited to see Floyd face Martinez.

I am not disagreeing with you. I actually agree with you whole heartedly. I would MUCH rather FMJ fight Bradley. I don't think power or reach alone mean anything and Bradley has the tools to be competitive. I am saying that haters will trash this fight. Why? Because they don't know boxing.

You must be new here, hahaha. You think the people here know boxing? Cruise around and read the posts... there are only a handful. The rest are haters.

i think you should add paul williams to that list.

but that fight isnt big enough for floyd either. i think berto and williams need to fight it out- and the winner would be a good fight for floyd in terms of market value. but of course it would still be a relatively small fight.

of course there is the phillipino guy thats pretty good. other than him -there isnt a super fight out there for floyd. i cant see him fighting small fights anymore, he s where oscar was at his peak- when he was fighting trinidad, mosley etc, only the biggest fights will do - otherwise whats the point. hteres not enough money for him - and no prestige. and that one guy is you know who. hopefully williams and berto and whoever else will fight in the background and increase their reps and box office -so that in time they ll be a new challenge for floyd. floyds beaten one generation already , as has pac. its almost like theyre waiting for the next generation to emerge- which will take a while. they cleared out their contemporaries in barrera, hatton, castillo, cotto, etc, and the past genration in oscar and shane and gatti. now its the next - to see if anyone can challenge them.

these two guys are on a whole other level to anyone else- a whole other 2 levels above everyone else, if that.
