Of course I can't give you some reference. I looked at his body he has developed into a real WW now. He wasn't a lot smaller than Mosley and Mosley comes around 160. So I think that Floyd was around 155. If it was easy for him to still make 140 as someone stated he was going to make the contracted 145 pounds with JMM. Floyd is a good busynesman so he will tell everybody that he is the smaller man to increase the significance of his wins.
I agree with the part about the excuses they are very stupid. As for Pac who knows the only way is to see the actual fight
The man himself says he wasn't gassed. Mentally exhausted is more likely. Shane has always been in tip top shape and no way in hell was he going to be out of shape going into the biggest fight of his career. Floyd made his workrate go away the same as martinez made pavlik's workrate go away and that is to smack the guy who is thinking about throwing a punch in the face. it only takes 8lbs of pressure to trigger the nerve to buzz when u get hit by a chin shot and floyd was hitting his mark 76 time and more than likely buzzing shane. some of the shots u see on the replay had shane's eye glazed. OF COURSE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SHANE BEING TIMID. NONE
Just bc some1 is not throwing punches doesn't mean that they are tired. It could be that they are tired, mentally tired, hurt, confused.
Why do people keep saying he was dead tired??? He was trying and he WAS throwing shots in those rounds, just could not get much in and he didn't let his hands go as lot. But shane hasn't let his hands go a lot in that way since Forrest defeat. He sort of got his step back after the Vargas fights. To be honest, Shane looked somewhat tired, just as Floyd said he would be, BUT he looked more frustrated and befuddled then anything. He was tight in there and he wasn't as gassed as people are making it seem. The fight is on youtube, unless someone removed it... I mean look at it again. I watched the fight again....
No he wasnt and floyd was not on ***** street, he was still pressing the action. Shane in the 2nd round of his fight against Forrest, THAT is ***** street. The difference is quite evident.
Not many will believe this, but Mayweather claimed in the post fight presser that he was 147 lbs. on fight night. He said he ate 3 meals between the weigh in and the fight because he wanted to weigh around 152 lbs. However, he said he was in such good shape that his weight stayed about the same.
