I was talking to someone earlier about a pattern I've noticed. I've noticed when Floyd speaks about Pacquiao’s disadvantages and why he'll lose are more hopes than realties. These are the most frequently used reasons. “He’s worried. I can see it in his eyes." Not necessarily true. “Ariza is gone and he is no longer getting ko's” Doesn’t mean he isn’t powerful, as Floyd insinuates. Then his most frequently used reason, “He has losing in his mind." Again, that is easily just an opinion that can't be proven, and if that's the main reason Pacquiao will lose... then what happens if that's not true at all? Pacquiao on the other hand is saying stuff like “I know how to beat his style. I know how to break his defense. I know his traps. I recognize his mistakes." His reason are much, much more realistic and believable while Mayweather’s reasons for Pacquiao losing are much more.... intangible. Like, they are not legitamate reasons because all of them could be completely wrong. Why is this? I think I've only heard him once say that he sees mistakes that he can capitalize on. In almost any other instance, it's these intangible, hopeful "reasons". I was expecting more, "I studied him and I know how to fight him." It's, "He has losing in his mind. He's worried." Like.... really? Wth
Because Mayweather is re****ed. Thats why. He inherited the Mayweather intelligence as well as the baby ****
Maybe he's just being really inconspicuous. He's acting weird idk. I was watching him trash talk ODLH earlier. I miss that Floyd :-( He was so confident, so sure of himself and wanted everyone to know it.
Floyd was on espn right after the press conference and talking about how he knows/wants to know what his opponent does well/good and how he doesn't care about that they do wrong or what mistakes they make....he said (and we already knew this) that he wants to take away what u do well.....I just think he's being very belichickian with his comments ....I don't think ur gonna hear him mention anything specific about his game plan
I'd be lying if I said Floyd seemed a little laid back and almost docile yesterday at the press conference.....and some seem conerned or think he's scared U have to remember for Oscar he still wasn't an established mainstream star and was still trying to sell himself......well now he's been there for years and been in the two biggest selling fights of all time and he's the a side to what will be the highest selling fight of all time......he's not the same guy in the same position he was when facing Oscar
Don't know, but abuffy, boxingmaster, and finding memo are in the running for poster of the year :nut.
Of course. I think the last fight I watched was Golovkin and Murray.. oh jk it was actually Thurman vs Guerrero and Broner vs Molina. I love boxing.
The reason I asked is because I've only seen you post about Pac/Floyd, and you've literally made 100+ threads about them. We're all excited for the fight, but if you're not a casual boxing fan your boxing discussions should not revolve completely around them. Once May 2nd passes I doubt we'll be hearing from you again.
Shows your lack of boxing knowledge doesn't it. abuffy's posts show that she has a sound knowledge of the game its a pity some of you clowns weren't more like her I enjoy her posts
