A washed up, past prime near 40 mayweather beat a young, Dominant world champion who also significantly bigger, outweighing mayweather by over 20 pounds

One of, you say? What other fights from the history of boxing are you comparing it to? List your top 5 all-time wins. Should be no problem for a boxing historian such as yourself...

Canelo is a very overrated PED user, who needs robberies go win.

Canelo was not that good at the time and has improved significantly, Ray Leonard beat Tommy Hearns for God`s sake.

It was a great win, no doubt.

I think Canelo is a very overrated guy, but there is no denying that it is a win over a highly respected, multi-division champ, and a much naturally bigger man.

It was a no doubt a great win but:

    1. Canelo was green
    2. Canelo's not as good as his record suggest, he should have at least another 2 losses on his record, Lara and GGG I

GGG should have a win over a better version of Canelo

Floyd was a -300 favorite in that fight.

Curious as to where you rank Loma-Rigo, as those odds were nearly the exact same: Loma closed a -325 favorite.

Not really. Canelo was essentially Trout/Lara level at the time. Very good win, but there's nothing "win of the decade" caliber about beating a guy you're soundly favored to.

He drained the inexperienced young Canelo down in weight severely
