Maywether from 130 against Pacquiao at 130?

I'm one of the people who think Mayweather stylistically always beats Pacquaio, although Pacquaio's super featherweight tenure is extremely underrated and he has the better resume there, yet wasn't really legitimized due to defending a bogus international title until his close fight with Marquez for the real WBC and lineal title.

Although Manny Pacquaio is arguably p4p a greater fighter than Floyd, h2h is a different story. Floyd at 130 is quicker and a better boxer than both Morales and Marquez who caused Pacquaio problems at this weight. The reason why Morales was able to beat Pacquaio despite being pretty much burned up to that point was simply due to his reach and timing. Both Morales and Floyd share similar body dimensions but Floyd is naturally the bigger man and much much quicker and wouldn't risk trying to outfight Pacquaio like Morales did.

I can honestly see an easy 116-112 decision going to Floyd's way.

 

Manny's best work against Mayweather came with the left hand.

Manny was nowhere near his best that night. His tactics were off, the ref was in Mayweather pocket, and his right hand was injured. Yet he still deserved at least a draw.

 

Pbf was 38 and shot when fought pac he was no where near his best and even older than pac was. He got hit with only a handful of left hands by pac all night long he undressed pac outworking him and out landing him he easy neutralized pacs offense and won the fight going away. It was easy work.

 

Putting aside your blinkered view of the fight, are we also going to ignore Pac's injured right arm? Or Mayweather receiving an IV before the fight that could well have masked his PED use? Or the referee's favourable treatment towards Mayweather?

 

I saw pac check healthy on the NSAC form. He threw punches with both arms with power and never complained to his corner during the fight. He raised both arms after the fight a guy with a hurr shoulder doesn't do that. He also didnt seek any treatment in the ring right after the fight or complained that it hurt. It's an excuse period end of the discussion. I wont let you use that. As for as the iv pbf was cleared and never tested positive.

Manny did complain to his corner about his arm injury. Roach has mentioned that he did in the past. Pacquiao lied on the NSAC's form so the fight could go ahead. He did however declare the injury to the NSAC before the fight while requesting to be injected with Toradol (a legal substance) to ease the pain. The NSAC denied his request.

Pac's shoulder is an excuse no boxer comes into any fight 100% there's always nagging injuries here and there. If it was aa badly hurt as you're trying to make it out to be then pull out and postpone it. Many fighters have done this before. He checked healthy on the NSAC form those are facts. Pbf was administered an iv the night before the fight. No ped given a day before a fight will give you any benefit. He was tested before and after the iv and passed all of his tests. An investigation was lainched and he was cleared period end of discussion. Did arum and pac make a big deal about the iv no why? Because they knew it was nothing to it. It was a vitamin saline infused and the contents were tested. It's not like pbf showed to this fight and all of a sudden had a career high workrate and new found power. If anything he didnt look great. What i did see though was all that back acne all on Pac's back that no one wants to talk about a tell tell sign of ped abuse.

Pacquiao didn't pull out because there was too much money at stake. This is what Roach said.

Again, you miss the point entirely about the IV. Mayweather was blood tested 11 days before the fight. In between that time he could well have injected himself with performance enhancers. The IV would have covered up the use of performance enhancers such as EPO in post-fight drug tests. I am not saying the IV was a performance enhancer in its own right.

Even the NSAC commission said that USADA should not have injected Mayweather with the IV. The excuse that Mayweather needed the IV because he was dehydrated also doesn't wash. The NSAC found no evidence that he was dehydrated before the fight, and forms Mayweather filled out leading up the fight revealed that he didn't struggle to make weight.

And yes, Manny did tell his corner during the fight that his shoulder was injured. After the 4th round in fact. Roach mentions it at 1:10 into this video.
