    M'Baye (+235)

    ....may have greatly underestimated Rees.
.....had two close fights with Kotelnik who handled Rees and Kotelnik also had a very close fight w/Witter.
....lost wide decision to Vivian Harris on 03

    Ngoudjo (-295)
.....extremely close fight with Castillo some say he won
.....extremely close fight with Malignaggi some say he won
.....close fight with Bailey I thought some thought (me too) he lost
.....Bailey fight was in his base and that may have helped him on the cards
.....M'Baye fight will be in his base too
.....was nearly knocked out by Emmanuel Augustus but the clock ran out

the above stuff is just facts....anybody want to break down how this fight might play out in the ring?

I like a small play on M'Baye based on the odds. But, its hard to see him dominating Ngoudjo, and if a lot of the rounds aren't clear cut for him its hard to see him winning a decision in Quebec. Maybe he can hurt Ngoudjo though??

I think unless we have some very dodgy judging, Herman will win this one comfortably.

Mbaye sucks man he did NOTHING against Rees. NOTHING. You may underestimate someone but not to the point of doing nothing.

Ngoudjo has way better defense, faced better competition destpite only having 18 fights, has good offense and isn't one dimentionnal while M'Baye is.

Ngoudjo UD, 118-110 or late TKO.

He was not nearly knocked out against Augustus, just had a shaky moment.

ngoudjo would have been still undefeated if not for those robberies.. i'll favor him UD 117-111 against mbaye this time without the robberies hopefully.

I am going to bet a small wager on M'Baye. Graham Houston of fightwriter is going for the upset as well. I will be rooting for some more "shaky moments" as you put it.

Ngoudjo by comfortable UD, something like 117-111.

Why? Do you think M'Baye is shot based on the Rees fight? Ngoudjo has never had an easy fight at this level in four tries.

    Castillo, Malignaggi, Bailey, Augustus

Because M'Baye looked so good at this level?

Lost to Hariss, Beated Kotelnik once in a close fight, Had a gift draw against him, and finally lost to Rees....

M'Baye hits like a girl though and Ngoudjo has a good chin. He was almost knocked out by Augustus in the 12th but that was more due to his inexperience. It was only his 12th fight, the second time he reached the 12th round and basicaly was out of gaz. So Augustus caught him in the last 30 seconds and was almost able to put him out but ran out of time.
