Round 7 just ended between Herman Ngoudjo and M'baye.

M'baye is more efficient and throws more controlled punches , Ngoudjo throws more wide punches that cause him to lose his balance and at times look wild. Ngoudjo took a thumb or a punch in the 4th round that has his left eye swollen , not sure if he can see out of it. The fight is close but I think M'baye is up a couple rounds . M'baye just took the 9th round , he landed a hard right in this round.

Rd 10 was close , as were many of the rounds. M'baye looks fresher, Ngoudjo not as fluid a puncher as M'baye . The are about equal power wise.

I have Ngoudjo taking the 11th, just a little busier but again a close round.

The 12 th was close as was the whole fight . Hard to score. Ngoudjo got the win but a draw would have been fair.

Not sure I want to see another track meet with Ngoudjo chasing Malinaggi around the ring. M'baye would have been a good match up with motor mouth.

Nope. He won the first and third round, getting a knockdown in the latter, then shut it down like he thought the Mob would put a contract on his head if he won. He had the two best rounds of the fight, but he also lost the six others.

Ah. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to get a chance as ESPN isn't repeating it here in the States. :conf

I'm not frothing at the mouth to watch Ngoudjo, but I have typically always enjoyed his fights.

    Nice pics

    decent scrap

Marginal victory at best for Ngoudjo but that doesn't help my bet of 10 bucks.

It was interesting how they mentioned Ngoudjo has gone 12 rounds what? something like 9 fights in a row and then 10 rounds in the one before that.

Ngoudjo was tough and fought threw the eye, boxing at times too and even picking up rounds that way. M'Baye had it there for himself, he just didn't go get it. But judging by the scores, even if M'Baye had done enough he probably would have lost a split decision. He hurt Ngoudjo more than he himself was hurt (the eye) like I hoped, but he could'nt make a dominating impression on the fight nonetheless.
