I'd like to bring up the undercard fight mbili vs Martinez. What a shoot out!!! I'm pretty sure his Excellency Mr Turki alashiek handpicked him for this fight! And it was a good call. I think they said mbili was not ranked in the top ten at super middleweight. Anyway Martinez was no slouch either! He was supremely conditioned for this kinda bout: an all out war. I don't think a rematch would be healthy for either guy, but you know what? It was one of those fights, where a fighter(s) left a piece of themselves in the ring. I was astonished at the Canadian Cameroon native the size of his shoulders, built like a brickhouse, broad back!!! Who else would like to see this run it back? If necessary I mean. And also what did you think of the fight which ended in a draw?
It was an enjoyable war, would be nice to see a rematch. But neither of them are particularly that impressive. I thought Martinez did slightly better. M'billi fights kinda dumb and basic the way he comes forward doing the same thing over and over. Don't think he'll have a long career fighting like that.
I didn't score the rbr, just chimed in on the thread. That fight had the looks of a Martinez win to me. Whenever he got separation he showed he was a little bit better Also: Mbili vs. Adames would be a match made in no jab just hook and cross heaven.
