    Yeah, on a national level Hisada might be a well-liked lunchpail journeyman sort, but ...Kyōguchi obviously is the one that has global star potential. You'd definitely think he would be the recipient of favorable commentary/scorecards, even accounting for hometown bias.

    I mean, I can only see a rationalization for Hisada winning the second & twelfth...I'm not sure where a judge was able to cobble together five rounds for him... but it was an impressive display of resiliency, and they didn't stop trading leather until the final bell. :ggg

    Really good bout. Much tougher than the scorecards would indicate. I thought Kyoguchi won 11 rounds, only losing the second, but was pushed in every one.

    Fantastic boxing from Kyoguchi, and very spirited from Hisada

    I want to see the unification with Kenshiro. I think Kenshiro would win a decision. Great match up.

    Nice to see Hasegawa in the commentating seat.
