That's a shame - he started to look really good. Hopefully he'll be automatically installed as no1 challenge... it he wants it.

Tony Doherty handily beats Barrie Jones yet Kells matched with Barrie for the title? Bent.

stripped for not fighting thaxton? didn't SN manage to dupe jono into withdrawing from purse bids and so dropping his mandatory status?

but still, it is a bit quick of the BBBC to strip mcintyre. he only made a defence 4 months ago.

    An absolute disgrace.

Warren pulls numerous 'fast ones' to rob McIntyre & Guzman of their titles:-(

    Hes one sleazy operator.

Is anyone even surprised by this **** anymore? Maybe it's about time we tried to take some form of positive action about this bias as opposed to just whinging on here.

Its a disgrace in my view plain and simple but it signals something more for me and that is if the BBBC will not even stand up to certain individuals we have no chance.

We can boycott shows all we like but the fans of the boxers on the bill will still go, the Tv companies will still buy the show and nobody suffers but us as always.

Really feel for McIntyre, does any of the Scottish lads have contact and know he has taken this, for what it is worth give him my regards

Rather than boycotting shows I was thinking more along the lines of a letter of protest signed by everyone who is opposed to their actions. I know the likelyhood is nothing will happen but it's better than doing nothing surely.

I think it is unfair that a guy can be stripped for being injured - and it is not as if he hasn't fought for a year!

The accusations toward Sports Network seem odd though - rare one of their fighters even go in for a proper title!

Apparently McIntyre says he could still have boxed Brook within the stipulated period (by the end of June) if the date could have been changed so it does seem harsh that the BBBofC have decided to strip him of his Title in these circumstances.

Think he only won the British in November and has already made one defence since then in the rematch against Anderson.

There seem to be double standards at play in some of the decisions the BBBofC make - the Khan/Thaxton situation certainly suggested that to me when Khan wasn't stipped of the Commonwealth.

So its now Brook v Jones for the British Title - that pairing ensures SN keep the belt in house....

i believe there is going to be an appeal this week, and then if that doesn't reverse the decision, braveheart may get legal advise...

McIntyre has pulled out twice from this fight. There's a whole host of boxers waiting to fight on this card and it wouldn't have gone on without a bill topper for tv. You have to think of more than McIntyre.

To say Warren pulled a fast one here is ridiculous...as for Guzman! You've got your facts all wrong there.
