McBride v Tyson. Tyson could have got away with shooting McBride. And glove biting?

The man from your country, Danny Williams did a real number on Tyson and not only wrecked him, but took his best shots.

A far different story from the one vs. McBride.

although i agree that danny took a lot harder shots, tyson "wrecked" his knee vs williams and that's the only reason williams survived

Tysons knee looked bad, still.. Williams was awfully dangerous when he was already counted out before the fight.
I don't think Tyson would've took him had he not busted his knee, I think Roach stated somewhere that Tyson looked beat after he walked to the corner when Williams took the barrage of punches.

I disagree. Tyson's knee got ****ed at the end of the first, and by the end of the second he could barely get leverage (tho he still tuned him up early in the round) and then he could barely move or defend himself which allowed danny to reign down sloppy tho some heav shots. tyson finished the fight sitting on the ropes in full control of his faculties but just unable to defend himself. Tyson only needed the 2nd imo. Even if williams would've survived the second there would've been a kd i'm sure and if tyson had two knees he wouldn't have lost b'/c danny williams was no fitnesss freak himself and not a better boxer

McBride is a horrible fighter and it showed in how he lost to no-hopers by KO after the Tyson fight. Tyson had slipped horribly since the Danny Williams fight. He didn“t look like he wanted to be in the ring at all. Even though Tyson lost to Danny Williams and was far removed from his prime, or even his post-prison comeback days in that fight, that version of Tyson still would have destroyed McBride.

Well I certainly think Tyson was close to KOing Williams early in the fight.
